Novel perspectives on growth hormone regulation of ovarian function: mechanisms, formulations, and therapeutic applications

open access: yesFrontiers in Endocrinology
Delayed childbearing has led to a continuous rise in the incidence of infertility because of social development and the evolving roles of women. Assisted reproductive technology (ART) has provided new opportunities for infertility treatment, such as the ...

New developments in the treatment of follicular lymphoma.

open access: yes[Rinsho ketsueki] The Japanese journal of clinical hematology, 2019
The treatment of follicular lymphoma (FL) continues to evolve. Those patients who present with minimal symptoms often are observed without therapy until significant progression occurs. When treatment is needed, initial options include single agent rituximab (R, anti-CD20), or various forms of chemoimmunotherapy including either R or the newer anti-CD20

Tumor‐Specific Delivery of CD28 siRNA via Lyso‐PC C‐16 Modified Lipid Nanoparticles Overcomes Anti‐PD‐1 Resistance by Remodeling Tumor Microenvironment

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study develops 16:0 LPC‐modified lipid nanoparticles (LPC‐LNPs) with cancer cell specificity by exploiting altered tumor lipid metabolism. LPC‐LNPs encapsulating Cd28 small interfering RNA (LPC‐LNP‐Cd28) knock down cancer cell CD28 without affecting T cells, inflame the tumor microenvironment, and overcome anti‐PD‐1 resistance.

Analysis of the SIRT Gene Family of Danio rerio and Its Expression at Different Developmental Stages of Follicles

open access: yesProgress in Fishery Sciences
SIRT family is a NAD+ dependent class Ⅲ deacetylase family, which is involved in the modification of histone or non-histone proteins. In addition to having deacetylase, some members of the SIRT family also have ADP-ribosylase and other activities, which ...

Nanomaterials for Allergy Diagnosis and Treatment: Advances, Opportunities and Translational Challenges

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Nanomaterials offer dual applications in allergy management. For diagnosis, nanomaterials enhance analytical sensitivity and improve detection in specific IgE and functional assays such as the basophil activation test (BAT). For allergen‐specific immunotherapy, nanomaterials enable allergen masking and controlled release, and effectively modulate the ...

MK3 Gene Upregulates Granulosa Cell Apoptosis Through the TNF/P38 MAPK Pathway in Chicken

open access: yesCells
In poultry production, the laying rate is a critical economic trait, as high egg production significantly enhances profitability. Mitogen-activated protein kinase-activated protein kinase 3 (MK3) is a member of the mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK)

Ovarian Cancer Diagnosis and Chemoresistance Prediction Model Based on cfRNA Molecular Signature

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A deep learning model analyzes cfRNA profiles extracted from the blood of OVCA patients. This innovative approach distinguishes OVCA from healthy controls with high accuracy. Crucially, it reliably predicts patient response to chemotherapy (sensitive versus resistant subgroups).

Real‐Time in Vivo Monitoring of Circulating Endometrial Cells: Uncovering Systemic Dissemination and Temporal Fluctuations in Endometriosis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A dual‐color pseudo‐menstrual mouse model enables real‐time tracing of circulating endometrial cells (CECs) from uterine and ectopic sources. The study reveals menstrual‐phase‐dependent, burst‐like CEC release, distinct postoperative behaviors of different CEC origins, and a potential association with prolactin fluctuations, providing an in vivo ...

Post-Translational Modifications in Mammalian Folliculogenesis and Ovarian Pathologies

open access: yesCells
Post-translational modifications (PTMs) of proteins, as the core mechanism for dynamically regulating follicular development, affect the maintenance of mammalian fertility by precisely coordinating granulosa cell–oocyte interaction, metabolic ...
