GnRH antagonist versus follicular-phase single-dose GnRH agonist protocol in patients of normal ovarian responses during controlled ovarian stimulation

Gynecological Endocrinology, 2018
Objective: This study aims to explore the differences of the ovarian stimulation (OS) characteristics, laboratory, and clinical outcomes between follicular-phase single-dose gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) agonist protocol and GnRH antagonist ...

Leukemic phase of follicular lymphomas: an atypical presentation

Leukemia & Lymphoma, 2011
Follicular lymphomas (FLs) are frequent B-cell derived malignancies, generally demonstrating an indolent evolution. Although circulating FL cells may be detected by high-resolution analysis, bloodstream involvement by FL cells is unusual. We observed in 10 patients a leukemic phase of FL at the onset of the disease.

FOLLICULAR LYMPHOMA WITH FULL REMISSION OF LEUKEMIC PHASE

Archives of Internal Medicine, 1956
TWO OF us (G. J. A. and H. L. S.), in 1952, published a report in the A. M. A.Archives of Internal Medicineof an unusual case of follicular lymphoma. 1 For a short time this patient had presented the clinical and laboratory findings of acute leukemia, and then these findings had spontaneously disappeared.

Effect of the Short Follicular Phase on Subsequent Conception

Gynecologic and Obstetric Investigation, 1992
The present study was designed to evaluate whether there is a lower pregnancy rate in women with short follicular phases, as defined by attaining the peak estradiol level before day 11 of the cycle. Thirty-two early ovulators with mature follicles were matched with 32 women being treated for similar infertility problems, who ovulated between days 12-20.

Longitudinal Evaluation of the Luteal Phase and Its Transition into the Follicular Phase*

The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism, 1987
The precise patterns of LH, FSH, and PRL secretion and their correlation with estradiol (E2) and progesterone (P) secretion during the entire luteal phase have not been elucidated. To analyze in detail the secretory patterns of these hormones we performed 29 consecutive studies in 5 healthy, regularly menstruating women throughout their luteal phase ...

Urinary oestrogen patterns in long follicular phases

Human Reproduction, 2000
Long menstrual cycles have been associated with reduced risk of breast cancer and increased risk of osteoporosis. These observations have led to assumptions about the endogenous oestrogen exposure of women with long cycles. However, daily oestrogen profiles in long menstrual cycles have not been described.

TRASER: Acute phase vascular and follicular changes

Lasers in Surgery and Medicine, 2014
Background and ObjectivesA TRASER (Total Reflection Amplification of Spontaneous Emission of Radiation) is a novel device that utilizes the energy from a flashlamp to induce the spontaneous emission of photons from a fluorescent medium. This study was designed to observe clinical and histological changes of skin treated with two different fluorescent ...

Contractility of the Nonpregnant Uterus

Annals of the New York Academy of Sciences, 2001
AbstractRecent renewed interest in uterine contractility stems from the possibility of directly visualizing uterine contractility on images generated by high‐resolution ultrasound probes. During the menstrual cycle, three typical patterns of uterine contractility have been recognized.

The effect of feeding strategy during the pre-follicular phase on subsequent follicular development in the pig

Domestic Animal Endocrinology, 2005
In female pigs feeding level has important effects on reproductive performance. This review is focused on the follicular development after low and high feeding levels during the luteal phase in gilts. Although aspects of diet composition seem to have a role in regulating reproductive performance, the most important aspect appears to be the plane of ...

Luteal phase deficiency after completely normal follicular and periovulatory phases

Fertility and Sterility, 1989
Luteal phase defect (LPD) accounts for a significant proportion of reproductive disorders, however its etiology is still debated. A prospective study was performed on 37 ovulatory women to determine whether LPD can occur in cycles characterized by completely normal folliculogenesis. Criteria for normal folliculogenesis included: a gradual rise of serum
