Forage Yield and Quality of Maize Varity

open access: yesOALib, 2015
This study was conducted in gedarif research station farm for two seasons in 2011 and 2012. The objective was to find the relationship among genotypes yield from dry matter and rain fall amount and distribution. The results showed significant differences for the five types of maize at two parameters.

Growth Standards for Children With Smith–Magenis Syndrome (SMS)

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Medical Genetics Part A, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Smith–Magenis syndrome (SMS, OMIM 182290) is a complex syndromic diagnosis marked by neurobehavioral differences and distinct facial dysmorphisms, caused by haploinsufficiency of the retinoic acid‐1 (RAI1) gene either by a pathogenic sequence variant or deletion at chromosome 17p11.2 involving a portion or all of this gene.

Intermediate wheatgrass grain and forage yield responses to nitrogen fertilization

open access: yes, 2017
Perennial crops have fewer environmental impacts compared to annual crops, but there are no perennial grains available to replace the annual grains that occupy a majority of U.S. cropland. Here we report grain and biomass yields from an improved breeding

Forage yield forage yield components of spring vetch genotypes, vicia sativa L.

open access: yes, 2004

Ensiling and Fermentation of Rice Hulls With Ruminal Fluid for Medium‐Chain Carboxylate Production

open access: yesAsia-Pacific Journal of Chemical Engineering, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Large quantities of rice hulls are common at milling sites in Nigeria. They are a by‐product of rice processing and can contribute to environmental degradation if not properly managed. In this study, rice hulls were pretreated by ensiling at ambient temperature and then used as substrate for medium‐chain carboxylates (MCCs) production ...

Forage Yields in Turkey Hill Wilderness in East Texas for White-tailed Deer [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Wilderness areas are often considered quality areas where natural processes occur without human activity. It is often assumed that these unmanaged areas will provide and support quality wildlife habitat. The objective of this study was to evaluate the
