Force Feedback Calculation of Thread in the Desktop-Based Thread Force Feedback System
Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2012The desktop-based thread force feedback system is divided into three logical parts. They are mechanical device, controller and data processing center. All kinds of interactive behaviors will be limited in the interactive space of the system. There exist two spaces of force feedback in the system.

Force Feedback in Dynamic Atomic Force Microscopy
Design Engineering, Parts A and B, 2005The feedback perspective of dynamic AFM provides a powerful tool to investigate the non-linear system dynamics from a system theoretic point of view. Including the higher order dynamics of the extended cantilever beam in the model the contact resonances can be reproduced faithfully without the need to solve the partial differential equation of motion ...

Force feedback surface force apparatus: Principles of operation
Review of Scientific Instruments, 1992The principles of operation of a force feedback surface force apparatus are described. A magnetic force transducer and a bimorph displacement sensor are connected in a servo loop. The dynamic behavior of the system is analyzed and the effect of eddy currents on the frequency response of the magnetic field is discussed.

Force Feedback for Nanohandling
2007The development of microrobots for nanohandling, with ever-growing demands regarding flexibility and automation, raises the problem of appropriate process control. With dimensions of the parts to be handled of sometimes considerably less than 100 nm and with a typical positioning accuracy in the nanometer range, nanohandling applications have detached ...

Feedback Controlled Optomechanical Force Sensor
Volume 7: 5th International Conference on Micro- and Nanosystems; 8th International Conference on Design and Design Education; 21st Reliability, Stress Analysis, and Failure Prevention Conference, 2011We present a new servo controllable force sensor that exploits photon momentum forces for the identification, calibration, and control of its dynamic properties. The sensor comprises a millimeter-scale glass cantilever, a low-noise fiber interferometer for detection of the cantilever deflection, and a high-power, intensity-modulated fiber laser to ...

Force feedback for surgical simulation
Proceedings of the IEEE, 1998Surgical simulation can provide great benefits to medicine by reducing the cost and duration of training and making the process more intuitive and informative. However, a simulation system imposes stringent requirements on the human-machine interface.

Electronic Steering With Force Feedback
2019 20th International Carpathian Control Conference (ICCC), 2019The paper describes the design and implementation of the electronic steering wheel control system with force feedback. The main purpose of this project is the development of a steering wheel unit for the implementation of “steer-by-wire” technology or as a basis for the autonomous vehicles control.
