Reduction of force ripples in linear motors
The influence ofhigher field harmonics of permanent magnets, and asymmetry of flux linkages according to the phase shift on the value of force ripples in linear motors is studied. The solution to this problem is based on a higher field harmonics analysis in the active zone of a two-phase permanent-magnet cylindrical linear motor.

Interstitial lung disease (IRD‐ILD) is a significant cause of morbidity and mortality in patients with inflammatory rheumatic disorders (IRD). High‐resolution computed tomography (HRCT) is widely considered the gold standard for the non‐invasive assessment of ILD; however, its interpretation is constrained by substantial inter‐observer variability and ...

Thrust ripple reduction based on auxiliary-slot permanent magnet synchronous linear motors
Permanent magnet synchronous linear motor (PMSLM) has the advantages of simple mechanical structure and high thrust density. However, the simultaneous existence of end effect and cogging force aggravates the thrust ripple and affects the output ...

A numerical–experimental framework is developed for characterizing multi‐matrix fiber‐reinforced polymers (MM‐FRPs) combining epoxy and polyurethane matrices. Harmonic bending tests are integrated with finite element model updating (FEMU) to simultaneously identify elastic and viscoelastic material parameters.

Geometry‐driven thermal behavior in wire‐arc additive manufacturing (WAAM) influences microstructural evolution during nonequilibrium solidification of a chemically complex Fe–Cr–Nb–W–Mo–C nanocomposite system. By comparing different deposits configurations, distinct entropy–cooling rate correlations, segregation, and carbide evolution are revealed ...
