Experimental Research of Drying Characteristic of Red Banana in a Single Slope Direct Solar Dryer Based on Natural and Forced Convection. [PDF]

open access: yesFood Technol Biotechnol, 2021
Research background. Traditionally, open sun drying method serves to dry the products for long time preservation. Solar drying is also employed to minimise the drying time to achieve the required moisture content.

Investigating the forced convection of magnetic nanofluids [PDF]

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2017
Experimental study of the magnetic nanofluids forced convection in a constant magnetic field was carried out. Dependence study of the magnetic nanofluid heat transfer coefficient on the effect of a constant magnetic field was made.

Cooling PV panels by free and forced convections: Experiments and comparative study

open access: yesAIMS Energy, 2023
This work concerns a comparative experimental study of cooling PV panels by free and forced convection and using finned plates. To this end, four prototypes are considered: the first one with a PV panel alone without cooling techniques, the second one ...

An axisymmetric Lattice Boltzmann Method Simulation of Forced Convection Heat Transfer for Water/Aluminum Oxide Nanofluid through a Tube under Constant Heat Flux on Wall [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Heat and Mass Transfer Research, 2021
Effects of different volumetric fractions and Reynolds number on forced convection heat transfer through water/aluminum oxide nanofluid in a horizontal tube are investigated.

Effects of rotation and surface forcing on deep stellar convection zones [PDF]

open access: yesProc. IAU 19 (2023) 5-15, 2023
The canonical undestanding of stellar convection has recently been put under doubt due to helioseismic results and global 3D convection simulations. This "convective conundrum" is manifested by much higher velocity amplitudes in simulations at large scales in comparison to helioseismic results, and the difficulty in reproducing the solar differential ...

Effect of Stirring on the Defect-Free Filling of Deep Through-Silicon Vias

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
Through-silicon-via (TSV) is an advanced 3D electronic integration technology. In order to achieve the defect-free filling of deep TSV, forced convection is commonly applied during TSV filling process.

Strong suppression of electron convection in Dirac and Weyl semimetals [PDF]

open access: yesPhys. Rev. B 104, 121113 (2021), 2021
It is shown that the convective instability in electron fluids in three- and two-dimensional (3D and 2D) Dirac and Weyl semimetals is strongly inhibited. The major obstacles for electron convection are the effects of the Coulomb forces and the momentum relaxation related to the interaction with impurities and phonons.

Magnetic Forces in Paramagnetic Fluids [PDF]

open access: yesJ. Phys.: Condens. Matter 35 053002, 2022
An overview of the effect of a magnetic field gradient on fluids with linear magnetic susceptibilities is given. It is shown that two commonly encountered expressions, the magnetic field gradient force and the concentration gradient force for paramagnetic species in solution are equivalent for incompressible fluids.

Experimental Investigation on Affecting Air Flow against the Maximum Temperature Difference of a Lithium-Ion Battery with Heat Pipe Cooling

open access: yesWorld Electric Vehicle Journal, 2023
Research on battery thermal management systems (BTMSs) is particularly significant since the electric vehicle sector is growing in importance and because the batteries that power them have high operating temperature requirements.

Evaporation of a liquid sessile droplet subjected to forced convection

open access: yesРоссийский технологический журнал, 2021
Experiments on measuring the rate of evaporation of liquid sessile droplets into air show that the rate of evaporation increases in the presence of forced convection flows.
