International Shipbuilding Progress, 1971As ships increase in size, the formulas previously used to describe ships' vibrations are being found to contain errors which are leading to expensive repairs and lost time. The article describes the various differences between the previous calculations used and the vibrations which are actually being found to occur.

Forced vibrations of a circular muscle ring
Bulletin of Mathematical Biology, 1973We consider the small radial displacement of a circular ring of cardiac muscle subjected to periodic forcing. The ring in question is that in the middle layer, at the transverse midsection, of the left ventricle. We show that the ring reacts in a periodic manner when forced in a periodic manner. Forced vibration of a multidirectional nonlinear oscillator
2017 4th International Conference on Systems and Informatics (ICSAI), 2017This paper presents a nonlinear piezoelectric oscillator structure capable of collecting multi-directional vibrational energy. The structure is mainly composed of universal coupling, piezoelectric spring, flexible hinge and mass block. The dynamical response of the structure is similar to the spring pendulum system.
