A Case Series on a Layered Biomaterial Strategy for Midface Rejuvenation: Combining Collagen Stimulators and Hyaluronic Acid

open access: yesJournal of Cosmetic Dermatology, Volume 25, Issue 4, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Background The midface is a key area where aging signs first appear, involving multi‐layered changes such as epidermal fine lines, volume loss leading to hollowing and sagging, and deep structural support weakening resulting in nasolabial fold deepening. Single‐material treatments often fail to address this complexity comprehensively.

Augmenting the Endogenous RBM3 Response Protects Against Burn‐Induced Acute Kidney Injury by Enhancing Macrophage‐Mediated Resolution of Inflammation

open access: yesThe FASEB Journal, Volume 40, Issue 6, 31 March 2026.
This study reveals that augmenting the RNA‐binding protein RBM3 ameliorates burn‐induced acute kidney injury (AKI). RBM3 overexpression reprograms pro‐inflammatory M1 macrophages toward a pro‐resolving M2 phenotype, enhancing their capacity for efferocytosis.
