A single‐cell atlas of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma development reveals progressive ductal‐fibroblast‐immune crosstalk. Tumor‐derived LAMB3 drives the formation of immunosuppressive LRRC15+ fibroblasts through the ITGB1/FAK/MAPK/FOSL2 signaling. Glycolytic reprogramming upregulates LAMB3 and correlates with LRRC15+ fibroblast enrichment.

Critical biomass harvesting – Applying a new concept for Swedish forest soils [PDF]
The contribution of forest harvesting to base cation losses and soil acidification has increased in recent years in Sweden, as the demand for bioenergy has increased and the sulphur deposition has decreased.

Nanoscale Spatial Organization of ARC High‐ and Low‐Order Assemblies at Excitatory Synapses
ARC (Activity‐Regulated Cytoskeleton‐Associated protein) mediates synaptic plasticity by forming nanoscale assemblies in neurons. Using super‐resolution microscopy and time‐resolved anisotropy with targeted tagging, the study reveals low‐order ARC assemblies at synapses colocalizing with AMPARs, semi‐circular structures at endocytic zones, and 60–80 nm

Following stand-replacing wildfire, post-fire (salvage) logging of fire-killed trees is a widely implemented management practice in many forest types. A common hypothesis is that removal of fire-killed trees increases surface temperatures due to loss of ...

Laser‐induced graphene (LIG) provides a scalable, laser‐direct‐written route to porous graphene architecture with tunable chemistry and defect density. Through heterojunction engineering, catalytic functionalization, and intrinsic self‐heating, LIG achieves highly sensitive and selective detection of NOX, NH3, H2, and humidity, supporting next ...

THUMPD1 drives a tumor‐suppressive signaling cascade in lung adenocarcinoma by promoting IGF2R expression. IGF2R associates with PPP2R1A to suppress AKT and activate AMPK, leading to SLC31A1 upregulation and copper accumulation. Elevated copper disrupts mitochondrial metabolism and induces excessive mitophagy, thereby restraining tumor growth and ...

OPTIMUM RATE OF FOREST HARVESTING
The economic conditions that must hold good for (1) an efficient allocation of primary factors of production for harvesting forest resources and (2) allocation of these forest resources between present use and use in future have been given. The concept of user cost has been applied to specify temporal efficiency in harvesting of resources, and a ...

DNA Replication Errors Drive Genome‐Wide Small Inverted Triplication Dynamics
This study provides insight into the dynamic equilibrium mechanism of a novel structural variant, small inverted triplication (SIT), which is generated by misalignment of the 3’ flap generated under DNA replication stress with palindromic sequence. Alternatively, the end sequence may fold back on itself to form an inverted fragment.
