Moose damage to forest regeneration in Bukta forest

Overall, moose is not very abundant game species in Lithuania, but in their wintering concentration areas moose population increases highly during the winter season. One of moose population wintering area is Bukta forest, where moose population in winter is overstepping recommended density. This phenomenon causes a lot of damage to forest regeneration.

Developmental programmes drive cellular plasticity, disease progression and therapy resistance in lung adenocarcinoma

This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.
