RIPK4 function interferes with melanoma cell adhesion and metastasis
RIPK4 promotes melanoma growth and spread. RIPK4 levels increase as skin lesions progress to melanoma. CRISPR/Cas9‐mediated deletion of RIPK4 causes melanoma cells to form less compact spheroids, reduces their migratory and invasive abilities and limits tumour growth and dissemination in mouse models.

We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

Terrorist threat assessment with formal concept analysis. [PDF]
The National Police Service Agency of the Netherlands developed a model to classify (potential) jihadists in four sequential phases of radicalism. The goal of the model is to signal the potential jihadist as early as possible to prevent him or her to ...

Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

Non-redundant implicational base of formal context with constraints using SAT [PDF]
An implicational base is knowledge extracted from a formal context. The implicational base of a formal context consists of attribute implications which are sound, complete, and non-redundant regarding to the formal context.

Towards Fault-Tolerant Formal Concept Analysis [PDF]
Given Boolean data sets which record properties of objects, Formal Concept Analysis is a well-known approach for knowledge discovery. Recent application domains, e.g., for very large data sets, have motivated new algorithms which can perform constraint-based mining of formal concepts (i.e., closed sets on both dimensions which are associated by the ...

Combining Clustering techniques and Formal Concept Analysis to characterize Interestingness Measures [PDF]
Formal Concept Analysis "FCA" is a data analysis method which enables to discover hidden knowledge existing in data. A kind of hidden knowledge extracted from data is association rules.
