A hierarchical structure of formal context
2011 International Conference on Machine Learning and Cybernetics, 2011Formal concept analysis is one kind of efficient approaches for data analysis, formal context and concept lattice are two basic notions. In this paper, by defining the dependence of attributes, one type of partial order relation among sub-contexts is investigated in detail. In the meantime, by introducing the notion of independence of a formal context,

Research on combined formal context
2011 IEEE International Conference on Granular Computing, 2011Currently, there are many ways to generate new formal contexts from the original ones. Among these ways, combining formal contexts is the simplest one. This paper mainly discusses the attribute characteristics in the composition of two formal contexts, which is called the combined formal context.

Two Formalizations of Context: A Comparison
2001We investigate the relationship between two well known formalizations of context: Propositional Logic of Context (PLC) [4], and Local Models Semantics (LMS) [11]. We start with a summary of the desiderata for a logic of context, mainly inspired by McCarthy's paper on generality in AI [15] and his notes on formalizing context [16].

Formal concept analysis of multi-scale formal context
Journal of Ambient Intelligence and Humanized Computing, 2020The case that attributes have a single value is considered in the classical formal concept. However, real-life data involve multi-level attribute values, which means that attributes have different values on different scales. In order to deal with multi-level attributes, we introduce the concept of multi-scale formal context in this paper.

Fuzzy Concepts in Formal Context
2015Formal concept analysis (FCA) provides a theoretical framework for learning hierarchies of knowledge clusters. This paper is devoted to the study of the fuzzy concept in FCA. We propose a fuzzy relation on the universe to characterize the similarity of the objects.

A Formal Model of Context-Awareness and Context-Dependency
Fourth IEEE International Conference on Software Engineering and Formal Methods (SEFM'06), 2006The communication environment surrounding our daily experience is increasingly characterized by mobile devices that can exchange multimedia information and provide access to various services of complex nature. The trend is now clear that future consumer computing experience will be based on multiple pervasive communication devices and services, where ...
