Additive manufacturing provides precise control over the placement of continuous fibres within polymer matrices, enabling customised mechanical performance in composite components. This article explores processing strategies, mechanical testing, and modelling approaches for additive manufactured continuous fibre‐reinforced composites.

Jordan derivations of polynomial rings
We study connections between the set of Jordan derivations of a ring $R$ and the sets of Jordan derivations of a polynomial ring $R[x_1,\dots,x_n]$ and formal power series ring $R[[x_1,\dots,x_n]]$. We also establish a condition when $JDer R$ is a left $

Identified through the use of statistical design of experiments and metallographic investigation, this study exposes the stochastic origins of intergranular cracks in blown powder laser beam directed energy deposition additive manufacturing of pure molybdenum. It further demonstrates a successful crack mitigation approach with direct correlation to the

On Parametric Gevrey Asymptotics for Some Cauchy Problems in Quasiperiodic Function Spaces
We investigate Gevrey asymptotics for solutions to nonlinear parameter depending Cauchy problems with 2π-periodic coefficients, for initial data living in a space of quasiperiodic functions. By means of the Borel-Laplace summation procedure, we construct

Digital Actuation Control of Soft Robotic Origami With Self‐Folding Liquid Crystal Elastomer Hinges
Self‐folding soft‐rigid hybrid robotic origami is enabled by liquid crystal elastomer actuators with embedded Joule heating and closed‐loop digital control. Digitally addressable hinges provide reversible and programmable transitions between distinct folded states while maintaining actuation performance at high cycle counts (over 1500).

Trigonometric integrals evaluated in terms of Riemann zeta and Dirichlet beta functions
Three classes of trigonometric integrals involving an integer parameter are evaluated by the contour integration and the residue theorem. The resulting formulae are expressed in terms of Riemann zeta function and Dirichlet beta function.

On universal formal power series
Denote by \(\mathbb{C}[[z]]\) the ring of formal power series with coefficients in \(\mathbb{C}.\) For \(f(z)=\sum_{k=0}^{\infty} a_k z^k \in \mathbb{C}[[z]]\) we denote by \(S_n(f)=\sum_{k=0}^{n} a_k z^k\) the \(n-\)th partial sum of \(f.\) The algebra \(\mathbb{C}[[z]]\) is endowed with the increasing sequence of submultiplicative seminorms ...

Ferroelectricity in Antiferromagnetic Wurtzite Nitrides
We establish MnSiN2${\rm MnSiN}_2$ and MnGeN2${\rm MnGeN}_2$ as aristotypes of a new multiferroic wurtzite family that simultaneously exhibits ferroelectricity and antiferromagnetism with altermagnetic spin splitting. By strategically substituting alkaline‐earth metals, we predict new materials with coexisting switchable polarization, spin texture, and

On Magnus' Freiheitssatz and free polynomial algebras [PDF]
The Freiheitssatz of Magnus for one-relator groups is one of the cornerstones of combinatorial group theory. In this short note which is mostly expository we discuss the relationship between the Freiheitssatz and corre- sponding results in free power ...

Analytic Erdös-Turán conjectures and Erdös-Fuchs theorem
We consider and study formal power series, that we call supported series, with real coefficients which are either zero or bounded below by some positive constant.
