This article presents the NFDI‐MatWerk Ontology (MWO), a Basic Formal Ontology‐based framework for interoperable research data management in materials science and engineering (MSE). Covering consortium structures, research data management resources, services, and instruments, MWO enables semantic integration, Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and ...

A pedagogical remark on the main theorem of perturbative renormalization theory
In this note, it is proven that, given two perturbative constructions of time-ordered products via the Bogoliubov-Epstein-Glaser recursion, both sets of coupling functions are related by a local formal power series, recursively determined by causality.

Disordered (Fe50Co50)1−xPtx thin films exhibit a pronounced anomalous Nernst effect (ANE) with a strong composition dependence on both rigid and flexible substrates. The transverse thermoelectric response peaks near 22.5 at.% Pt, accompanied by enhanced αxy/σxy scaling, thermal transport, and ANE sensitivity.

Formal Power Series With Cyclically Ordered Exponents
We define and study a notion of ring of formal power series with exponents in a cyclically ordered group. Such a ring is a quotient of various subrings of classical formal power series rings. It carries a two variable valuation function.

Two linear equations in formal power series
The equations [gradφ(x)]TF(x)=h(x) and F(ψ(x))–ψ(x) are considered. They arise in the stability theory of differential and difference equations.

On morphically generated formal power series [PDF]
Summary: We define morphically generated formal power series and study their properties. These series are obtained by interpreting various \(L\) systems as mechanisms to generate power series. The well-known classes of rational and algebraic power series are obtained as a special case.

A Knowledge‐Based Approach for Understanding and Managing Additive Manufacturing Data
Additive manufacturing processes generate a large amount of data. Effectively managing, understanding, and retrieving information from this data remains a major challenge. Therefore, we propose an ontology‐based approach to integrate heterogeneous data, enable semantic queries, and support decision‐making.
