Analysis of natural formaldehyde formation on several types of marine fish circulating in Jakarta [PDF]
Formaldehyde is dangerous to health because it is a carcinogen that can cause cancer. Jakarta Province has an integrated food control program, namely fish supervision, free from formaldehyde. The test results during the management there were several fish

Targeted modulation of IGFL2‐AS1 reveals its translational potential in cervical adenocarcinoma
Cervical adenocarcinoma patients face worse outcomes than squamous cell carcinoma counterparts despite similar treatment. The identification of IGFL2‐AS1's differential expression provides a molecular basis for distinguishing these histotypes, paving the way for personalized therapies and improved survival in vulnerable populations globally.

Automated analysis of oxidative metabolites [PDF]
An automated system for the study of drug metabolism is described. The system monitors the oxidative metabolites of aromatic amines and of compounds which produce formaldehyde on oxidative dealkylation.

Quasi-Periodic Formaldehyde Maser Flares in the Massive Protostellar Object IRAS18566+0408
We report results of an extensive observational campaign of the 6 cm formaldehyde maser in the young massive stellar object IRAS18566+0408 (G37.55+0.20) conducted from 2002 to 2009.

RIPK4 function interferes with melanoma cell adhesion and metastasis
RIPK4 promotes melanoma growth and spread. RIPK4 levels increase as skin lesions progress to melanoma. CRISPR/Cas9‐mediated deletion of RIPK4 causes melanoma cells to form less compact spheroids, reduces their migratory and invasive abilities and limits tumour growth and dissemination in mouse models.

Evaluation of two eco-friendly neutralizers for a spectrum of tissue fixatives for biomedical applications. [PDF]
Formaldehyde is a widely used aldehyde in biomedical applications, including tissue fixation. It is this same fixative property that can result in toxicity if aldehydes are improperly discarded.

Detection of Formaldehyde Towards the Extreme Carbon Star IRC+10216
We report the detection of H2CO (formaldehyde) around the carbon-rich AGB star, IRC+10216. We find a fractional abundance with respect to molecular hydrogen of x(H2CO)= (1.3 {+1.5}{-0.8}) x 10^{-8}.

H2CO and CH3OH maps of the Orion Bar photodissociation region [PDF]
A previous analysis of methanol and formaldehyde towards the Orion Bar concluded that the two molecular species may trace different physical components, methanol the clumpy material, and formaldehyde the interclump medium.

Health Damage and Repair Mechanism Related to Formaldehyde Released from Wood-based Panels
Wood-based panels, which contain wood raw materials along with urea-formaldehyde (UF) or phenol-formaldehyde (PF) resins, can increase the indoor air concentration of formaldehyde. Formaldehyde can stimulate the upper respiratory mucosa and cross-linking
