Low Temperature Phase Transition in Sr(0.66)Ba(0.34)Nb2O6 single Crystal Fibers [PDF]

The structural changes in Sr(0.66)Ba(0.34)Nb2O6 single crystal fibers when the temperature decreases from 295 to 10 K is investigated by dielectric constant measurements and Raman spectroscopy. The anomaly observed in the plot of e is associated to the variation in the intensity and frequency of some Raman modes.

Construction and validation of nomogram prediction model for ketoacidosis in elderly diabetic patients based on baseline data and glycolipid metabolism

Journal of Diabetes Investigation, EarlyView.
This study identifies risk factors for DKA in elderly diabetics and develops a predictive nomogram model. Key factors include age, diabetes duration, FBG, HbA1c, and lipid levels. The model demonstrated strong predictive performance with high AUC values, indicating its clinical utility.

A case of SHORT syndrome with a novel genetic mutation diagnosed 19 years after the onset of diabetes

Tissue Perfusion and Biomarkers Assessment Following Root Coverage Procedures

Gingival recessions treated with a collagen matrix loaded with rhPDGF showed significantly greater early tissue perfusion compared to sites treated without the growth factor. Early tissue perfusion outcomes were correlated to the amount of root coverage and gingival thickness gain at 6 months.
