Hepatocyte TrkB Acts as a Gatekeeper Against MASH‐Related Liver Fibrosis by Suppressing the TGFβ/CCL2 Axis and Macrophage Infiltration

Hepatocyte TrkB is identified as a critical gatekeeper against MASH‐related fibrosis. Mechanistically, TrkB inhibits the TGFβ/SMAD3/FOS axis to suppress CCL2 secretion, thereby blocking pathogenic macrophage recruitment and ameliorating liver fibrosis.

A distinct gene expression mechanism for d‐amino acid utilization in hyperthermophilic archaeon Pyrococcus horikoshii

Lifestyle triggers of migraine: Sleep restriction and caffeine lower the threshold for migraine‐like responses in rats in a sex‐specific manner

Sleep restriction (SR) and caffeine intake act as environmental modulators of migraine susceptibility. Their effects are sex‐dependent: Females show heightened sensitivity under both SR and caffeine conditions. Males require the combination of SR and caffeine to exhibit susceptibility.

Distribution models of polysphinctine parasitoid wasps (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae) reveal sampling bias and flag potentially overlooked host interactions

We quantified the geographical overlap between parasitoid wasps and their known host spiders. We could assess which parasitoid species have more limited information about their interactions and are subject to geographical survey bias. We generated sampling bias maps to assist other researchers in identifying where the main sampling gaps are.

Comparative endocranial anatomy in the crocodylians Leidyosuchus canadensis and Stangerochampsa mccabei from the upper Cretaceous of Alberta, Canada

Leidyosuchus canadensis and Stangerochampsa mccabei share endocranial features such as posterior projection of a neurovascular canal in the maxilla and a paratympanic sinus system most similar to those of small‐bodied and young extant crocodylians, suggesting that these pedomorphic features may reflect the ancestral crocodylian condition.
