Mechanisms of spinal glial activation in chemotherapy‐induced peripheral neuropathy: Focus on microglia and astrocytes

open access: yesIbrain, EarlyView.
Chemotherapy‐induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN) remains a major clinical challenge, with central sensitization considered an important pathological mechanism in its occurrence and persistence. This review focuses on spinal astrocytes and microglia, systematically summarizing the pathological mechanisms of spinal glial cells involved in CIPN caused by

Plasma proteomic profiling and molecular clustering reveal immune‐defined prognostic subtypes in lung adenocarcinoma

open access: yesInternational Journal of Cancer, EarlyView.
What's New? Lung adenocarcinoma shows considerable heterogeneity in disease progression and therapeutic response. Here, the authors analyzed tumor samples through proteomic profiling and applied network‐based clustering. They identified two distinct patient groups with different demographic, clinical, and molecular characteristics.

Structural design and property regulation of organic polymers for photocatalytic synthesis of H2O2

open access: yesInfoScience, EarlyView.
Photocatalytic synthesis of H2O2 offers a sustainable approach. Photocatalytic efficiency depends critically on interfacial electron transfer kinetics and spatial charge separation. Herein, we systematically analyze key factors governing photogenerated carrier dynamics and propose engineered strategies to optimize performance, thereby providing design ...

Light‐Mediated Insulin and Amylin Secretion: Influence of Irradiation Parameters in Optogenetically Modified Mouse‐Pancreatic β Cells

open access: yesJournal of Biophotonics, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates variation in photo‐induced secretion of insulin and amylin from Channelrhodopsin‐2 expressing MIN6 cells under different irradiation conditions. For the first time, an alteration in the relative ratio of amylin: insulin is observed with varying irradiation conditions.

Developmental outcomes after soybean oil vs mixed‐oil intravenous lipid emulsions in neonates: A secondary analysis of a clinical trial

open access: yesJournal of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Fatty acids make up a significant portion of brain mass. The choice of lipid injectable emulsion alters a patient's fatty acid profile. In neonates with intestinal failure dependent on parenteral nutrition, this is particularly concerning given their rapid brain development. Methods We randomly assigned 24 infants to receive soy oil
