Estimation of slope stability using ensemble-based hybrid machine learning approaches

open access: yesFrontiers in Materials
Mining is one of the most daunting occupations gain the sector since it entails risk at any point in the operation. In its operation, the main focus is on slope stability.

Slope Stability Analysis of Granitic Residual Soil Using SLOPE/W, Resistivity and Seismic

open access: yesInternational journal of engineering and technology, 2018
There are many factors that influence slope failure such as natural disasters and human activities. Amongst the major causes are the rise of groundwater and infiltration of prolonged and antecedent rainfalls.

Thermal Stress Simulation on a Stainless-steel Submersible Water Heater design

open access: yesIOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering, 2020
A new design of immersion heater is proposed for common household use and is checked for stress induced due to heating and the corresponding factor of safety (FOS).

Study on Section Selection of Super Large Oil Storage Tunnel Based on Strength Reduction Method

open access: yesIOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering, 2020
To study the section selection of super large oil storage tunnel could help make full use of underground space and arrange tunnels reasonably. The stability of tunnel with three different section (horseshoe section, circular section, elliptic arch ...

Numerical study of slope protected by rockfill and shredded tyre mixture gabion wall

open access: yesIOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering, 2020
Abundance of discarded scrap tyre in Malaysia demand diverse recycling products, in order to reduce its environmental pollutions and simultaneously the negative aftermaths to society and future generation.

Infusible Extracellular Matrix Biomaterial Enhances Cell‐Specific Pro‐Repair Responses Following Acute Myocardial Infarction

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
We measure the cell‐specific responses of administering infusible ECM (iECM) in acute myocardial infarction (MI) across multiple timepoints. Using single‐nucleus RNA sequencing and spatial transcriptomics, we measure macrophage activation, fibroblast remodeling, increased vascular development, lymphangiogenesis, cardioprotection, and neurogenesis ...

Enumeration of probiotic strains from synbiotic samples produced by Myternak Trading

open access: yesIOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering, 2020
Natural defense mechanisms of animals by using probiotics, prebiotics, and synbiotics have been seen as an alternative way to improve animal health and to overcome the food-borne diseases among the livestock. This is as the previous use of antibiotics as

Mapping Nanoscale Protein‐Corona Kinetics of DoE‐Optimized Perfluorocarbon Encapsulated‐PLGA Nanoparticles by In Situ, Time‐Resolved Synchrotron SAXS

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
A two‐phase workflow (OFAT screening followed by central composite design) maps how processing variables tune PFCE‐PLGA nanoparticle size, dispersity, surface charge, loading, and 19F‐MRI signal. In situ, time‐resolved synchrotron SAXS tracks albumin‐corona growth on intact dispersions and reveals PFCE‐dependent adsorption pathways.
