The Journal of Gene Medicine, Volume 28, Issue 10, October 2026.Mice received bilateral hippocampal injections of an AAV vector expressing NL2, followed by repeated PTZ administration. NL2 expression in the HPC attenuated seizure progression and reduced c‐Fos expression in the ventral HPC. These findings suggest that AAV‐mediated NL2 expression in the HPC may be a potential therapeutic strategy for seizure control.
