Because it has both in vitro and in vivo activities against a wide range of multidrug-resistant as well as extensively drug-resistant bacteria, fosfomycin is potentially a good candidate for treating infections with these bacteria.

Because it has both in vitro and in vivo activities against a wide range of multidrug-resistant as well as extensively drug-resistant bacteria, fosfomycin is potentially a good candidate for treating infections with these bacteria.
