The separation of Helium gas from natural gas is challenging but highly important. MIL‐116(Ga), a “non‐porous” metal–organic framework is used as a molecular sieve to separate He from CH4. Druse‐like MIL‐116(Ga) particles are integrated into polysulfone mixed matrix membranes.

Insect frass in Baltic amber [PDF]
Inclusions of wood debris loosened from pine-like trees are abundant in Baltic amber of Eocene and Oligocene age. The possibilities to find insect frass and excrement among wood debris are outlined and some examples are given.

A pore tuning strategy to amplify the multi‐site MOF‐SO2 interactions is proposed to achieve an enhanced trace SO2 capture and chemiresistive sensing in highly stable isostructural DMOFs by annelating benzene rings. This work provides a facile strategy to achieve tailor‐made stable MOF materials for specific multifunctional applications.

Age and metallicity gradients in fossil ellipticals [PDF]
Fossil galaxy groups are speculated to be old and highly evolved systems of galaxies that formed early in the universe and had enough time to deplete their $L^{*}$ galaxies through successive mergers of member galaxies, building up one massive central ...
