FREQUENCY ANALYSIS OF DELTA SCUTI VARIABLE STARS. I.
The Fourier analyses are performed for photoelectric observations of two δ Scuti stars V567 Oph and KU Cen. It is shown that V567 Oph is a multiperiodic star and KU Cen has one main period.

Extended local fourier analysis for multigrid optimal smoothing, coarse grid correction, and preconditioning [PDF]
Multigrid methods are fast iterative solvers for partial di erential equations. Especially for elliptic equations they have been proven to be highly e cient.

Harnessing Fungal Biowelding for Constructing Mycelium‐Engineered Materials
Mycelium‐bound composites (MBCs) offer low‐carbon alternatives for construction, yet interfacial bonding remains a critical challenge. This review examines fungal biowelding as a biocompatible adhesive, elucidating mycelium‐mediated interfacial mechanisms and their role in material assembly. Strategies to optimize biowelding are discussed, highlighting

Fourier analysis methods for the compressible Navier-Stokes equations [PDF]
In the last three decades, Fourier analysis methods have known a growing importance in the study of linear and nonlinear PDE's. In particular, techniques based on Littlewood-Paley decomposition and paradifferential calculus have proved to be very ...

Duplex Stainless Steel Laser‐Surface Textured: Stability in Brine Solution
Controlled laser‐surface treatment (LST) of duplex DSS2205 steel is performed to increase its stability in brine solution under cyclic electrochemical assays. The superior protection with respect to flat and smooth panels is attributed to the presence of FeCr2O4 as the main protective oxide layer in the LST surface, after corrosion tests. The stability

Gyro-Sensor-Based Vibration Control for Dynamic Humanoid-Robot Walking on Inclined Surfaces
An efficient motor-control system for stable walking of the lightweight humanoid robot KONDO KHR-3HV on inclined surfaces is investigated. The motor-control system is based on the angular velocity of the pitch motion of the robot, which is detected by a ...

A Workflow to Accelerate Microstructure‐Sensitive Fatigue Life Predictions
This study introduces a workflow to accelerate predictions of microstructure‐sensitive fatigue life. Results from frameworks with varying levels of simplification are benchmarked against published reference results. The analysis reveals a trade‐off between accuracy and model complexity, offering researchers a practical guide for selecting the optimal ...

What follows is a description of my analysis. First, the FFT that I use is described on the attached pages. Note that the scaling factor for the forward transform is 1/N. I compute the following rms values: rms(original data) = 64.9463 nm; rms(data*hanning) = 55.7723 nm (before renormalization).
