A fourier-hermite pseudospectral method for penetrative convection
The first contribution of the thesis is the development of an efficient Fourier-Hermite pseudospectral method for solving the penetrative convection problem in an infinite domain.

An immersed boundary method (IBM) for the advection, diffusion, and reaction (ADR) of chemicals or species in incompressible flow is proposed. Suitable for complex geometries, the IBM with multidirect forcing is used in this paper to impose Dirichlet ...

A time-splitting Fourier pseudospectral method for the Wigner(-Poisson)-Fokker-Planck equations
In this article, we propose an efficient time-splitting Fourier pseudospectral method for the Wigner(-Poisson)-Fokker-Planck equations. The method achieves second-order accuracy in time and spectral accuracy in phase space, both of which are rigorously verified by numerical experiments.

Mesh adaptation for pseudospectral ultrasound simulations [PDF]
High-intensity focussed ultrasound (HIFU) is an emerging cancer therapy that holds great promise, as it is minimially invasive, requires no ionising radiation, and can treat small volumes precisely.

Reverse Time Migration of Elastic Waves Using the Pseudospectral Time-Domain Method
Reverse time migration (RTM), especially that for elastic waves, consumes massive computation resources which limit its wide applications in industry. We suggest to use the pseudospectral time-domain (PSTD) method in elastic wave RTM. RTM using PSTD can
