Some Expansions in Basic Fourier Series
2003Our main objective in this chapter is to present explicit expansions of many elementary and q-functions in basic Fourier series. This leads, in a natural way, to a new class of formulas never investigated before from the I an analytical and/or numerical point of view [26], [146]. In our presentation y most of the material can be read independently from

Convergence: Fourier series vs. wavelet expansions
1994Wavelet bases were introduced in the 1980’s as new orthonormal bases of various spaces. Much has been studied on the theory of wavelets, and many applications have been made. Several interesting facts about wavelets can be found by examining convergence properties for wavelet expansions, and comparing them with similar properties for Fourier series.

Summation of Derived Fourier Series: An Application to Fourier Expansions on Compact Lie Groups
The Annals of Mathematics, 1936Introduction. Recently' the author investigated the question of convergence and summability of multiple Fourier Series from a new view point. It was shown that there exists, for Fourier series of all dimensions, a general type of summation processes under which the convergence or non-convergence of the corresponding partial sums at a given point ...

Methods for the Fourier‐series expansion of torsional energies
Journal of Computational Chemistry, 1989AbstractSeveral general procedures for the derivation and analysis of a Fourier‐series expansion V(ϕ) over computed torsional energies E(ϕi) are formulated. STO‐3G energy values in n‐butane, 1‐chloropropane, and 1,2‐dichloroethane are used as test data for deriving V(ϕ) with the numerical methods of interpolation and least squares. The accuracy of each
