Infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy of PH

Journal of Molecular Spectroscopy, 1987
Abstract The infrared vibration-rotation spectrum of the PH radical was observed in emission using a high-resolution Fourier transform spectrometer. The observation of five bands (1-0, 2-1, 3-2, 4-3, and 5-4) allowed the first six vibrational energy levels of the ground X 3 Σ − state to be characterized. An RKR potential curve for the ground state

Metabolic Fingerprinting with Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy

2003
Fourier transform IR (FTIR) spectroscopy is a rapid, reagent-less, non-destructive, anal. technique whose continuing development is resulting in manifold applications in the biosciences. FTIR spectra of microbes are derived from a composite of different vibrational modes representing a diverse range of biomols.

Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy: recent developments

Applied Optics, 1978
The 1977 International Conference on Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy was held 20-24 June 1977 at Columbia, S.C. The manuscripts of most of the invited speakers at this meeting follow this report. This paper summarizes the seven papers in this category which could not be submitted.

Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy

1992
Typically, lignins are characterized by IR spectroscopy in the solid state. The examination of lignins in solution has long been a domain of UV and NMR spectroscopy. However, with the advent of the FTIR technique, the IR spectra of liquid samples now can be readily obtained.

Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy of polymers

1984
This review covers the theory and application of Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy to the characterization of polymers. The basic theory, the sampling techniques and the spectral operations are described. The applications discussed include the study of polymer reactions, polymer structure and dynamic effects.
