Towards Fractal Antennas: A multiband Sierpinski Triangle (Gasket) Fractal Vivaldi Antenna
Using Sierpinski Triangle Fractals (STFs), a revised Vivaldi antenna with multiband coverage is presented. This report explains how fractal itera-tions can be increased to increase the impedance bandwidth and create new bands for multiband applications.

Distributed processing of a fractal array beamformer
Fractals have been proven as potential candidates for satellite flying formations, where its different elements represent a thinned array. The distributed and low power nature of the nodes in this network motivates distributed processing when using such ...

An Overview of Tsunami Hazards in the Southwest Pacific Ocean
The southwest Pacific region is geologically complex and exhibits all the principal causes of tsunami generation. While contemporary events and historical catalogs indicate that trans‐Pacific tsunamis have affected this area (∼18% of tsunamis reported globally), it is unique in that a large part of the tsunami effects over the ∼200‐year historical ...

Fibrinogen self‐assembly follows distinct anion‐directed pathways. Phosphate promotes ordered nucleation and elongation into interconnected nanofibrous networks, whereas chloride induces disordered porous aggregates. Specific phosphate retention within the fibers suggests direct ion–protein interactions during fibrillogenesis.

Textile‐derived recycled polyester waste is transformed into ultra‐fine nanofibrous air filters via statistically optimized electroblowing. Bead‐free fibers as small as 41 ± 14 nm are achieved, resulting in enhanced filtration efficiency, quality factor, and long‐term electret stability after corona treatment.
