Holder exponents of irregular signals and local fractional derivatives
It has been recognized recently that fractional calculus is useful for handling scaling structures and processes. We begin this survey by pointing out the relevance of the subject to physical situations.

Temporal and Cell‐Specific Regulation of Synaptic Homeostasis by the Chromatin Remodeler Chd1
Chd1, the Drosophila homologue of mammalian CHD2 ‐ a gene linked to autism, epilepsy, and intellectual disability, is required for synaptic homeostatic plasticity. Chd1 in glia is necessary for the rapid induction of synaptic homeostasis, whereas Chd1 in motoneurons, muscle, and glia is critical for long‐term maintenance.

Traditional operational calculus, while intuitive and effective in addressing problems in physical fractal spaces, often lacks the rigorous mathematical foundation needed for fractional operations, sometimes resulting in inconsistent outcomes. To address

Fractal Weyl laws for asymptotically hyperbolic manifolds
For asymptotically hyperbolic manifolds with hyperbolic trapped sets we prove a fractal upper bound on the number of resonances near the essential spectrum, with power determined by the dimension of the trapped set. This covers the case of general convex

Time‐resolved SAXS reveals how physiologically relevant metal ions shape the earliest conformational responses of monomeric α‐synuclein. Fe3+ induces rapid compaction, Cu2+ generates heterogeneous and partially folded ensembles, while Mn2+ and Zn2+ cause only modest changes.

Fractional Dynamics from Einstein Gravity, General Solutions, and Black Holes
We study the fractional gravity for spacetimes with non-integer dimensions. Our constructions are based on a geometric formalism with the fractional Caputo derivative and integral calculus adapted to nonolonomic distributions.

Direct Growth of Transparent Boron Nitride Neutron Shielding Layer for Space Window
Direct growth of sp2‐sp3 hybridized BN (HBN) on quartz, enabled by an h‐BN buffer, produces transparent and stable films up to 80 µm thick with high transmittance and strong neutron shielding, making HBN a promising candidate for space windows in long‐term lunar missions.

Fractal and Entropy Analysis of the Dow Jones Index Using Multidimensional Scaling
Financial time series have a fractal nature that poses challenges for their dynamical characterization. The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) is one of the most influential financial indices, and due to its importance, it is adopted as a test bed for ...

Physical Origin of Temperature Induced Activation Energy Switching in Electrically Conductive Cement
The temperature‐induced Arrhenius activation energy switching phenomenon of electrical conduction in electrically conductive cement originates from structural degradation within the biphasic ionic‐electronic conduction architecture and shows percolation‐governed characteristics: pore network opening dominates the low‐percolation regime with downward ...

Studies in fractal–fractional operators with examples
By using the generalization of the gamma function (p-gamma function: Γp(.)), we introduce a generalization of the fractal–fractional calculus which is called p-fractal fractional calculus.
