What Makes A Business Ecosystem Circular? A Multilevel Review

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Drawing on multilevel and complexity theories, this research identifies new and reframed core principles of circular business ecosystems (CBEs), thereby clarifying what makes a business ecosystem circular. Although CBEs are increasingly recognised as adaptive systems shaped by interdependencies and non‐linear interactions, how circularity ...

Deriving the Golden Ratio as a Fractal Attractor in Fractal Theory

open access: yes
The Golden Ratio Φ has long appeared across natural systems, yet most explanations treat it as a geometric constant or an imposed tuning parameter. In this paper, Φ is derived directly from the generative operators of Fractal Theory (FT) Morgan, M. (2025), without invoking geometry, harmonic rules, or external proportional assumptions.

Variational Principle of the Unstable Nonlinear Schrödinger Equation with Fractal Derivatives

open access: yesAxioms
The well-known nonlinear Schrödinger equation (NLSE) plays a crucial role in describing the temporal evolution of disturbances in marginally stable or unstable media. However, when the media is a fractal form, it becomes ineffective.

VERMONT μQFR: Diagnostic Accuracy of Murray Law‐Based 2D‐μQFR Compared to 3D‐μQFR and vFFR

open access: yesCatheterization and Cardiovascular Interventions, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Murray law‐based quantitative flow ratio (μQFR) is an angiography‐derived physiological index that utilizes a single angiographic projection with artificial intelligence‐guided vessel segmentation. Aims To evaluate the diagnostic accuracy and time efficacy of 2D‐μQFR against wire‐based fractional flow reserve (FFR ≤ 0.80), compare ...

Modeling of Color and Degradation of C‐Phycocyanin Extracted From Arthrospira platensis and Chlorogloeopsis HTF

open access: yesChemie Ingenieur Technik, EarlyView.
A nonlinear kinetic model was developed and successfully implemented, which describes the degradation of the protein C‐phycocyanin depending on temperature and pH value. C‐phycocyanin had been extracted from two different cyanobacteria. In addition to protein degradation, the fading of the typical blue color of this protein was included in the model ...

An Analytical Design Model of a Vacuum Pressure Swing Adsorption Process for Biogas Upgrading

open access: yesChemie Ingenieur Technik, EarlyView.
A steady‐state model was developed for a vacuum pressure swing adsorption (VPSA) process comprising adsorption, depressurization, and evacuation steps. The resulting analytical plant design model provides the optimal adsorber height required to achieve a target product purity with maximum bed utilization.

The SIR Model in a Moving Population: Propagation of Infection and Herd Immunity

open access: yesCommunications on Pure and Applied Mathematics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT In a collection of particles performing independent random walks on Zd$\mathbb {Z}^d$ we study the spread of an infection with SIR dynamics. Susceptible particles become infected when they meet an infected particle. Infected particles heal and are removed at rate ν$\nu$.

Resource‐Efficient Electrodes with Metallized Woven‐Glass‐Grid Current Collectors for Lithium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesChemSusChem, Volume 18, Issue 6, March 15, 2025.
The use of metallized glass‐based woven‐grids instead of metal foils as current collectors for LIBs leads to a significant reduction in metal usage by over 90 % and weight savings of more than 80 %, resulting in an 11 % increase in specific energy at the cell level. Abstract A novel class of resource‐efficient, woven‐glass‐grid current collectors (CCs)

The Fractal Lie Derivative: Theory and Applications

open access: yes
This paper presents a new Lie theoretic approach to fractal calculus, which in turn yields such new results as a Fractal Noether's Theorem, a setting for fractal differential forms, for vector fields, and Lie derivatives, as well as k-fractal jet space, and algorithms for k-th fractal prolongation. The symmetries of the fractal nonlinear \(n\)-th \(α\)-
