Cauchy Problem for the Nonlocal Equation Diffusion-Advection Radon in Fractal Media

open access: yesVestnik Samarskogo Gosudarstvennogo Tehničeskogo Universiteta. Seriâ: Fiziko-Matematičeskie Nauki, 2010
In this article, using the Green's function method solved the Cauchy problem for the equation of anomalous diffusion-advection of radon in a fractal medium, which is represented by a fractional derivative of the Caputo time fractional derivative and ...

Evaporation Kinetics Engineering Suppressed Bimolecular Recombination in All‐Polymer Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In this study, phenanthrene (Ph), a volatile solid additive with a weak tendency toward self‐aggregation, is introduced as a donor‐selective morphology regulator in benchmark all‐PSC systems. The moderate evaporation kinetics of Ph enable cooperative crystallization of donors and acceptors, leading to an increased fractal dimension with reduced donor ...

Fractal Geometry: Axioms, Fractal Derivative and Its Geometrical Meaning

open access: yesJournal of Environmental & Earth Sciences, 2019
Physics success is largely determined by using mathematics. Physics often themselves create the necessary mathematical apparatus. This article shows how you can construct a fractal calculus - mathematics of fractal geometry. In modern scientific literature often write from a firm that "there is no strict definition of fractals", to the more moderate ...

Flame Suppression in Lithium‐Ion Batteries During Thermal Runaway Through Solvent Design Considering the Volatility–Flammability Relationship

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An asymmetric sulfonate solvent forms thermally stable interphases and demonstrates non‐flammability, suppressing heat accumulation for safer, high‐performance lithium‐ion batteries. ABSTRACT An asymmetric sulfonate‐based linear solvent, 2,2,2‐trifluoromethyl mesylate (FMS), is designed and used as the primary solvent in liquid electrolytes to enhance ...

Application of a time-fractal fractional derivative with a power-law kernel to the Burke-Shaw system based on Newton's interpolation polynomials

open access: yesMethodsX
This paper proposes some updated and improved numerical schemes based on Newton's interpolation polynomial. A Burke-Shaw system of the time-fractal fractional derivative with a power-law kernel is presented as well as some illustrative examples. To solve

Disorder‐Driven Ionic Mobility Edge and Localization‐Driven Dendrite Formation in Solid Electrolytes

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
Migration‐barrier disorder localizes ionic transport into a sparse percolation backbone. Current and electric‐field focusing at filament tips promote fractal dendrite growth and suppress the critical current density according to jcrit = j0 exp(−σEeff/kBT).
