This work provides a practical guide for neuroengineers to design advanced neural interfaces, embracing and tailoring the concept of functional disorder. By bridging 2D and 3D in vitro models, this work highlights how non‐periodic, spatially heterogeneous, multiscale nanotopography can enable more physiologically relevant platforms for studying neural ...

DERIVATION AND INTEGRATION ON A FRACTAL SUBSET OF THE REAL LINE
Ordinary calculus is usually inapplicable to fractal sets. In this chapter, we introduce and describe the various approaches made so far to define the theory of derivation and integration on fractal sets. In particular, we study some Riemann-type integrals (the s-Riemann integral, the sHK integral, the s-first-return integral) defined on a closed ...

Femtosecond‐Laser‐Induced Physical Unclonable Random Maze Structure for Storage‐Free Encryption
Femtosecond‐laser‐induced gold random maze structures serve as multimodal physical unclonable functions for storage‐free encryption. Their stochastic optical, electrical, and Raman responses are generated by plasmon‐assisted Marangoni formation and converted into AES‐compatible keys without permanent secret‐key storage, offering a portable route toward

A bioinspired strain‐adaptive ligament‐bone architecture achieves record‐high energy density of 26.1 J cm−3 and 90% efficiency at 600 MV m−1, coupled with a Young's modulus of 2.13 GPa. ABSTRACT Polymer dielectrics for capacitive energy storage face fundamental trade‐offs between breakdown strength, energy density, efficiency, and mechanical robustness.

Sturm’s Theorems for Fractal Differential Equations
In this paper, we investigate the spectral properties of the fractal Sturm’s problem by employing the fractal derivative. We establish and prove the fractal analogues of Sturm’s separation and Sturm’s comparison theorems.

Chromatin Packing Domain Engineering Through the Manipulation of Nuclear Cationic States
Manipulation of intranuclear divalent cation concentrations rapidly and reversibly remodels chromatin packing domains in living cells. Magnesium depletion disrupts domain compaction, heterochromatin organization, and transcriptional regulation, whereas magnesium loading promotes more compact and stable domains.

A New Class of Generalized Fractal and Fractal-Fractional Derivatives with Non-Singular Kernels
The present paper introduces a new class of generalized differential and integral operators. This class includes and generalizes a large number of definitions of fractal-fractional derivatives and integral operators used to model the complex dynamics of many natural and physical phenomena found in diverse fields of science and engineering.
