Particle &Particle Systems Characterization, EarlyView.Fluoride release kinetics from uncoated and coated β−NaYF4$\ubeta-{\rm NaYF}_4$ and LiYF4${\rm LiYF}_4$ in aqueous solutions are quantified using an ion‐selective electrode coupled to a dialysis compartment. TEM/DLS/ICP‐OES and speciation‐aware modeling complement the fluoride release results.
