Antibody‐Functionalized DNA Hydrogels Recognize and Isolate Living Tumor Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, Volume 13, Issue 2, 20 January 2026.
We present a novel strategy using DNA Y‐motif nanostar hydrogels and DNA‐functionalized antibodies for precise live‐cell manipulation. Target cells are labeled with DNA sticky ends that hybridize with DNA Y‐motifs, enabling their incorporation and capture within the hydrogel during self‐assembly.

Ultrathin Broadband Terahertz Metamaterial Absorber Based on Multimode Spoof Localized Surface Plasmon Resonators

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, Volume 7, Issue 1, January 2026.
This work presents an ultrathin terahertz metamaterial absorber that achieves broadband and polarization‐insensitive performance through multimode spoof‐plasmon resonances and tunable indium tin oxide loss engineering. The absorber offers near‐Rozanov‐limit thickness and optical transparency, enabling integration into compact and multifunctional THz ...

Tunable Plasmons in Photoelectrochemical Water Splitting: An Overview

open access: yesAdvanced Sustainable Systems, Volume 10, Issue 1, January 2026.
Plasmonic materials based on non‐noble metals, including Al, Cu, metal oxides, and chalcogenides, enhance photoelectrochemical water splitting by improving solar light harvesting and catalytic activity. Their spectrally tunable localized surface plasmon resonance, low cost, and elemental abundance make them viable alternatives to noble metals ...
