Analysis and Modeling of Fractional-Order Buck Converter Based on Riemann-Liouville Derivative

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
In previous studies, researchers used the fractional definition of Caputo to study fractional-order power converter. However, it is found that the model based on Caputo fractional definition is inconsistent with the actual situation.

Modeling and Control Research of Fractional-Order Cascaded H-Bridge Multilevel STATCOM

open access: yesFractal and Fractional
This paper introduces fractional-order capacitors and fractional-order inductors into the conventional integer-order cascaded H-bridge multilevel static compensator (ICHM-STATCOM), thereby constructing the main circuit of the fractional-order cascaded H ...

A Method for Designing Multi-Band Rasorbers for Wideband Applications

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2021
Rasorbers with a single passband (narrow or wide) or multiple narrow passbands have been reported for stealth applications over the past few years. In this work, a method of designing the multi-band rasorber with wide passband(s) is proposed for the ...

Transferrin receptor 1‐mediated iron uptake supports thermogenic activation in human cervical‐derived adipocytes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

A Nonvolatile Fractional Order Memristor Model and Its Complex Dynamics

open access: yesEntropy, 2019
It is found that the fractional order memristor model can better simulate the characteristics of memristors and that chaotic circuits based on fractional order memristors also exhibit abundant dynamic behavior.

Fuzzy Fractional-Order PID Control for PMSG Based Wind Energy Conversion System with Sparse Matrix Converter Topology

open access: yesInternational Transactions on Electrical Energy Systems, 2022
Sparse matrix converter (SMC) is an indirect AC-to-AC power electronic converter that has a fictitious DC link between rectification and inversion stages in which neither a capacitor nor an inductor, as the storage element, is utilized.

High-sensitivity in various gyrator-based circuits with exceptional points of degeneracy

open access: yesEPJ Applied Metamaterials, 2022
Exceptional points of degeneracy (EPD) can enhance the sensitivity of circuits by orders of magnitude. We show various configurations of coupled LC resonators via a gyrator that support EPDs of second and third-order.
