Serological Benefit of SARS‐CoV‐2 Vaccination Relative to Infection in Children With Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) are at risk of severe outcomes from SARS‐CoV‐2 (SCV2). In the post‐pandemic context, where most children have been infected with SCV2, there are limited data on whether vaccination remains beneficial in children with ALL.

Monotonicity-based inversion of the fractional Schr\"odinger equation I. Positive potentials

open access: yes, 2019
We consider the inverse problems of for the fractional Schr\"odinger equation by using monotonicity formulas. We provide if-and-only-if monotonicity relations between positive bounded potentials and their associated nonlocal Dirichlet-to-Neumann maps ...

Antiperiodic Solutions for Impulsive ω-Weighted ϱ–Hilfer Fractional Differential Inclusions in Banach Spaces

open access: yesFractal and Fractional
In this article, we construct sufficient conditions that secure the non-emptiness and compactness of the set of antiperiodic solutions of an impulsive fractional differential inclusion involving an ω-weighted ϱ–Hilfer fractional derivative, D0,tσ,v,ϱ,ω ...

On the Existence of a Unique Solution for a Class of Fractional Differential Inclusions in a Hilbert Space

open access: yesMathematics, 2021
We obtained results on the existence and uniqueness of a mild solution for a fractional-order semi-linear differential inclusion in a Hilbert space whose right-hand side contains an unbounded linear monotone operator and a Carathéodory-type multivalued ...

Dietary Protein Intake and Peritoneal Protein Losses in Peritoneal Dialysis Patients

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction Peritoneal dialysis (PD) patients lose protein in their waste dialysate, potentially increasing their risk for malnutrition. We wished to determine whether there was any association between losses and dietary protein intake (DPI). Methods DPI was assessed from 24‐h dietary recall using Nutrics software.

Existence Results for Fractional Functional Differential Inclusions with Infinite Delay and Applications to Control Theory [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
Mathematics Subject Classification: 26A33, 34A60, 34K40, 93B05In this paper we investigate the existence of solutions for fractional functional differential inclusions with infinite delay. In the last section we present an application of our main results

Solvability of Fractional Differential Inclusion with a Generalized Caputo Derivative [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, 2020
This paper is devoted to the investigation of a kind of generalized Caputo semilinear fractional differential inclusions with deviated-advanced nonlocal conditions. Solvability of the problem is established by means of the Leray-Schauder’s alternative approach with the help of the Lagrange mean-value classical theorem.

Existence and Stability of Solutions for p-Proportional ω-Weighted κ-Hilfer Fractional Differential Inclusions in the Presence of Non-Instantaneous Impulses in Banach Spaces

open access: yesFractal and Fractional
In this work, we introduce a new definition for the fractional differential operator that generalizes several well-known fractional differential operators.

Phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinase as a target of pathogens—friend or foe?

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This graphical summary illustrates the roles of phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinases (PI4Ks). PI4Ks regulate key cellular processes and can be hijacked by pathogens, such as viruses, bacteria and parasites, to support their intracellular replication. Their dual role as essential host enzymes and pathogen cofactors makes them promising drug targets.

Liftable derivations for generically separably algebraic morphisms of schemes

open access: yes, 2006
We consider dominant, generically algebraic, and tamely ramified (if the characteristic is positive) morphisms $\pi: X/S \to Y/S$, where Y,S are Noetherian and integral and X is a Krull scheme (e.g.
