Interaction of HS1BP3 with cortactin modulates TKS5 localisation, cell secretion and cancer malignancy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...

On the stability of a fractional-order differential equation with nonlocal initial condition

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2008
The topic of fractional calculus (integration and differentiation of fractional-order), which concerns singular integral and integro-differential operators, is enjoying interest among mathematicians, physicists and engineers. In this work, we investigate

Fractional Ulam-stability of fractional impulsive differential equation involving Hilfer-Katugampola fractional differential operator

open access: yesUniversal Journal of Mathematics and Applications, 2018
In this note, we set up existence, uniqueness as well as the stability of a special class of fractional differential equation (FDE) with Hilfer-Katugampola fractional differential operator (HKFDO). The outcomes are given by employing the Schaefer's fixed point theorem and Banach contraction principle.

Clinical performance of the urine‐based TERT promoter AbsoluteQ Digital PCR for non‐invasive detection of bladder cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A urine‐based digital PCR assay targeting two hotspot TERT promoter variants detected bladder cancer with high sensitivity and no false positives in this case–control cohort. The streamlined AbsoluteQ workflow outperformed Sanger sequencing and supports non‐invasive molecular testing for bladder cancer detection.

Contaminated water flow modelling through the porous media by using fractional advection-dispersion equation (FADE)

open access: yesGeology, Ecology, and Landscapes
This study aims to evaluate the validity of Fractional Advection-Dispersion equation (FADE) in breakthrough curves in saturated homogenous soil media, i.e.

Astronomical image processing based on fractional calculus: the AstroFracTool

open access: yes, 2009
The implementation of fractional differential calculations can give new possibilities for image processing tools, in particular for those that are devoted to astronomical images analysis. As discussed in arxiv:0910.2381, the fractional differentiation is

Microglial dynamics and ferroptosis induction in human iPSC‐derived neuron–astrocyte–microglia tri‐cultures

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
A tri‐culture of iPSC‐derived neurons, astrocytes, and microglia treated with ferroptosis inducers as an Induced ferroptosis model was characterized by scRNA‐seq, cell survival, and cytokine release assays. This analysis revealed diverse microglial transcriptomic changes, indicating that the system captures key aspects of the complex cellular ...

Spectral properties of fractional differentiation operators

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2018
We consider the fractional differentiation operators in a variety of senses. We show that the strong accretive property is the common property of fractional differentiation operators.

Geometric and Physical Interpretation of Fractional Integration and Fractional Differentiation

open access: yes, 2001
A solution to the more than 300-years old problem of geometric and physical interpretation of fractional integration and differentiation (i.e., integration and differentiation of an arbitrary real order) is suggested for the Riemann-Liouville fractional ...

BMI‐1 modulation and trafficking during M phase in diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
The schematic illustrates BMI‐1 phosphorylation during M phase, which triggers its translocation from the nucleus to the cytoplasm. In cycling cells, BMI‐1 functions within the PRC1 complex to mediate H2A K119 monoubiquitination. Following PTC596‐induced M phase arrest, phosphorylated BMI‐1 dissociates from PRC1 and is exported to the cytoplasm via its
