The Langevin Equation in Terms of Generalized Liouville–Caputo Derivatives with Nonlocal Boundary Conditions Involving a Generalized Fractional Integral

open access: yesMathematics, 2019
In this paper, we establish sufficient conditions for the existence of solutions for a nonlinear Langevin equation based on Liouville-Caputo-type generalized fractional differential operators of different orders, supplemented with nonlocal boundary ...

Equivalences of Nonlinear Higher Order Fractional Differential Equations With Integral Equations

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, Volume 48, Issue 6, Page 6930-6942, April 2025.
ABSTRACT Equivalences of initial value problems (IVPs) of both nonlinear higher order (Riemann–Liouville type) fractional differential equations (FDEs) and Caputo FDEs with the corresponding integral equations are studied in this paper. It is proved that the nonlinearities in the FDEs can be L1$$ {L}^1 $$‐Carathéodory with suitable conditions.

On qualitative analysis of a fractional hybrid Langevin differential equation with novel boundary conditions

open access: yesBoundary Value Problems
A hybrid system interacts with the discrete and continuous dynamics of a physical dynamical system. The notion of a hybrid system gives embedded control systems a great advantage.

Crossover from anomalous to normal diffusion: truncated power-law noise correlations and applications to dynamics in lipid bilayers

open access: yesNew Journal of Physics, 2018
The emerging diffusive dynamics in many complex systems show a characteristic crossover behaviour from anomalous to normal diffusion which is otherwise fitted by two independent power-laws.

Stability analysis of nonlinear implicit fractional Langevin equation with noninstantaneous impulses

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2019
In this paper, we consider a nonlocal boundary value problem of nonlinear implicit fractional Langevin equation with noninstantaneous impulses. We study the existence, uniqueness and generalized Ulam–Hyers–Rassias stability of the proposed model with the

Numerical study of ergodicity for the overdamped Generalized Langevin Equation with fractional noise

open access: yes, 2018
The Generalized Langevin Equation, in history, arises as a natural fix for the rather traditional Langevin equation when the random force is no longer memoryless.

Memory effects in the velocity relaxation process of the dust particle in dusty plasma

open access: yes, 2017
In this paper, by comparing the time scales associated with the velocity relaxation and correlation time of the random force due to dust charge fluctuations, memory effects in the velocity relaxation of an isolated dust particle exposed to the random ...

Modeling the Intermediate Flow Regime in Flow‐Compensated Intravoxel Incoherent Motion MRI

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Purpose The intravoxel incoherent motion (IVIM) model is commonly used to separate the effects of motion related to diffusion and blood microcirculation (perfusion) on the MR signal. Depending on the encoding time (T), it is possible to probe the different temporal regimes of blood motion, which resemble a ballistic flow at short T and a ...

On the singular-hybrid type of the Langevin fractional differential equation with a numerical approach

open access: yesBoundary Value Problems
The nonlinear fractional Langevin equation is an important equation used in various areas of physics and mathematics. In this article, we focus on the singular-hybrid case of the generalized Langevin equations and prove the existence of a solution using ...

A Unified Approach to Solvability and Stability of Multipoint BVPs for Langevin and Sturm–Liouville Equations with CH–Fractional Derivatives and Impulses via Coincidence Theory

open access: yesFractal and Fractional
The Langevin equation is a model for describing Brownian motion, while the Sturm–Liouville equation is an important mechanical model. This paper focuses on the solvability and stability of nonlinear impulsive Langevin and Sturm–Liouville equations with ...
