On qualitative analysis of a fractional hybrid Langevin differential equation with novel boundary conditions

open access: yesBoundary Value Problems
A hybrid system interacts with the discrete and continuous dynamics of a physical dynamical system. The notion of a hybrid system gives embedded control systems a great advantage.

On a nonlocal integral boundary value problem of nonlinear Langevin equation with different fractional orders

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2019
In this paper we develop the existence theory for a nonlinear Langevin equation involving Caputo fractional derivatives of different orders and Riemann–Liouville fractional integral supplemented with nonlocal multi-point and multi-strip boundary ...

Anomalous Diffusion In Microrheology: A Comparative Study

open access: yes, 2008
We present a comparative study on two theoretical descriptions of microrheological experiments. Using a generalized Langevin equation (GLE), we analyze the origin of the power-law behavior of the main properties of a viscoelastic medium. Then, we discuss

Generalized Elastic Model yields Fractional Langevin Equation

open access: yes, 2012
Starting from a generalized elastic model which accounts for the stochastic motion of several physical systems such as membranes, (semi)flexible polymers and fluctuating interfaces among others, we derive the fractional Langevin equation (FLE) for a probe particle in such systems, in the case of thermal initial conditions.

Plasmakristall‐4 Experiment: 10 Years of Operation in Orbit

open access: yesContributions to Plasma Physics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Plasmakristall‐4 (PK‐4) is a microgravity complex plasma laboratory operated for 10 years on board the International Space Station. Its main purpose is the particle‐resolved investigation of generic condensed matter phenomena using strongly coupled suspensions of microparticles immersed in low‐pressure gas‐discharge plasmas.

On the singular-hybrid type of the Langevin fractional differential equation with a numerical approach

open access: yesBoundary Value Problems
The nonlinear fractional Langevin equation is an important equation used in various areas of physics and mathematics. In this article, we focus on the singular-hybrid case of the generalized Langevin equations and prove the existence of a solution using ...

A Unified Approach to Solvability and Stability of Multipoint BVPs for Langevin and Sturm–Liouville Equations with CH–Fractional Derivatives and Impulses via Coincidence Theory

open access: yesFractal and Fractional
The Langevin equation is a model for describing Brownian motion, while the Sturm–Liouville equation is an important mechanical model. This paper focuses on the solvability and stability of nonlinear impulsive Langevin and Sturm–Liouville equations with ...

Measure of Noncompactness for Hybrid Langevin Fractional Differential Equations

open access: yesAxioms, 2020
In this research article, we introduce a new class of hybrid Langevin equation involving two distinct fractional order derivatives in the Caputo sense and Riemann–Liouville fractional integral. Supported by three-point boundary conditions, we discuss the

Evolution of the water cluster in pore condensation

open access: yesDroplet, EarlyView.
In pore condensation, lower contact angles reduce molecular displacement (60%) and potential energy (10%), enhancing vapor capture tenfold. Pores restrict water molecule mobility, promoting condensation. On hydrophobic surfaces (124∘$^\circ$), pores stabilize embryos, ensuring uniform condensation within pores, boosting nucleation efficiency.
