Protocol for quantifying miRNA trafficking across the endosomal membrane
An in vitro protocol measures miRNA uptake into endosomes isolated from mammalian cell extracts, which are free of subcellular contaminants. Performed at 37 °C in the presence of ATP, it ensures the import of single‐stranded miRNA into the endosomal lumen.

Lasers have been used in a variety of industries, but we will concentrate on their use in medicine, specifically dermatology. I concentrated on three types of lasers in this article (ablation, non-ablative lasers, and fractional lasers). The non-ablative

Comparative assessment of crystallographic and cryo‐EM models in the Protein Data Bank
Raw data obtained by X‐ray crystallography or cryo‐EM result in experimental maps, ultimately fitted by atomic models. Although the physical principles are different, the final results can be viewed, compared, and evaluated in the same way. With cryogenic electron microscopy (cryo‐EM) on track to surpass X‐ray crystallography as the preferred method ...

Using fluorescence fluctuation spectroscopy to quantify molecular dynamics within cells
Microscopy techniques like fluorescence correlation spectroscopy (FCS) and number and brightness analysis (N&B) allow to quantify concentrations, diffusion rates, and oligomerization of fluorescently labeled molecules in the living cell. In this protocol the principles of how to set up these types of experiments are described including calibration ...

The Applications of Fractional Lasers in Taiwan
The applications of fractional lasers are enormous. In Taiwan, the most commonly used fractional lasers can be divided into 3 different categories: ablative, non-ablative, and combined hybrid laser. The ablative fractional laser was invented as a new instrument to be used for facial resurfacing initially.

Management of the refractory vitiligo patient: current therapeutic strategies and future options
Vitiligo is an autoimmune disease that leads to disfiguring depigmented lesions of skin and mucosa. Although effective treatments are available for vitiligo, there are still some patients with poor responses to conventional treatment. Refractory vitiligo

Predicting extreme defects in additive manufacturing remains a key challenge limiting its structural reliability. This study proposes a statistical framework that integrates Extreme Value Theory with advanced process indicators to explore defect–process relationships and improve the estimation of critical defect sizes. The approach provides a basis for
