Mathematical modelling of fractional order circuits

open access: yes, 2016
In this work a classical derivation of fractional order circuits models is presented. Generalized constitutive equations in terms of fractional Riemann-Liouville derivatives are introduced in the Maxwell's equations. Next the Kirchhoff voltage law is applied in a RCL circuit configuration.

Demonstrating Vibrational Current Generation With a Self‐Assembled Bioelectret

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Vacuum‐deposited films of the plant‐derived molecule, Baicalein, form a self‐assembled bioelectret exhibiting spontaneous orientation polarization and a giant surface potential. The films induce alternating current during the vibration of a movable electrode without charging treatments. Hydrocarbon protection enhances the air stability of the Baicalein

On the Possibility of the Jerk Derivative in Electrical Circuits

open access: yesAdvances in Mathematical Physics, 2016
A subclass of dynamical systems with a time rate of change of acceleration are called Newtonian jerky dynamics. Some mechanical and acoustic systems can be interpreted as jerky dynamics. In this paper we show that the jerk dynamics are naturally obtained

Analysis and circuit design of a fractional-order Lorenz system with different fractional orders

open access: yesSystems Science & Control Engineering, 2014
The paper first discusses the recently reported fractional-order Lorenz system, analyzes it by using the frequency-domain approximation method and the time-domain approximation method, and finds its chaotic dynamics when the order of the fractional-order system varies from 2.8 to 2.9 in steps of 0.1. Especially for the fractional-order Lorenz system of

Electrospun Wood‐Derived Biopolymers as Electrodes in Electrochemical Energy Storage Technologies

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Electrospinning transforms wood‐derived cellulose and lignin into architecturally defined, binder‐free carbon electrodes with tuneable porosity and functionality. This review shows how fibre design enables decoupled charge and mass transport, enhancing performance across battery systems, while identifying key challenges in spinnability, scalability ...

Mimicking Silent Synapse Recruitment: A SiOx/Cu‐Pancake Memristive Device For Analog Neuromorphic Computing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Electroforming‐free TiN/SiOx/Cu/SiOx/TiN memristive devices exploit pancake‐like Cu nanoparticles embedded in a SiOx double layer to create a heterogeneous Schottky‐barrier landscape. Under bias, oxygen‐vacancy redistribution progressively lowers local barriers and recruits initially inactive Cu‐PC pathways into a parallel conduction ensemble, enabling

Design of fractional-order analog integrated circuits [PDF]

open access: yes, 2021

Graphene Quantum Dot‐Induced Microstrain for Framework Stabilization of High‐Entropy Prussian Blue Analog in High‐Current Alkaline Hydrogen Evolution Reaction

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The intrinsic distortion‐rich lattice of HEPBA with GQD‐enabled microstrain engineering establishes a mechanistic route toward high‐performance alkaline hydrogen evolution reaction. HEPBA inherently feature heterogeneous local coordination environments arising from multimetal incorporation, while properly introducing GQD during coprecipitation ...
