Periostin‐CCL3 Feedforward Signaling Loop Promotes Cardiac Fibrosis and Cardiomyocyte Necroptosis in Arrhythmogenic Cardiomyopathy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
POSTN‐CCL3 signaling forms a feed‐forward circuit between cardiomyocytes and cardiac myofibroblasts in arrhythmogenic cardiomyopathy. POSTN activates JNK/RIP3‐dependent necroptotic signaling and JNK/ETS2‐induced CCL3 expression in cardiomyocytes. In turn, CCL3‐CCR5 signaling in cardiac myofibroblasts activates NF‐κB/p65 and promotes POSTN expression ...

Existence and multiplicity of solutions for fractional p-Laplacian equation involving critical concave-convex nonlinearities

open access: yesAdvanced Nonlinear Studies
We investigate the following fractional p-Laplacian convex-concave problem:(Pλ)(−Δ)psu=λ|u|q−2u+|u|ps*−2u inΩ,u=0 inRn\Ω,  $$\left({P}_{\lambda }\right) \begin{cases}\begin{aligned}\hfill {\left(-{\Delta}\right)}_{p}^{s}u& =\lambda \vert u{\vert

Lyssavirus Nucleoprotein Induces GPAT4‐Mediated CYB5R1 Depalmitoylation to Suppress Ferroptosis and Promote Viral Replication

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Lipid metabolism plays a vital role in viral infections. Here, we reveal that the lyssavirus N protein regulates GPAT4 to induce lipid droplet biogenesis, restricting CYB5R1 palmitoylation and reducing ferroptosis susceptibility to ultimately promote viral replication.

Chiral Supramolecular Templating Enables Tunable Second‐Harmonic Generation in Hybrid Zinc Thiocyanates

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Chiral supramolecular templates derived from natural amino acids direct the spatial organization of SHG‐active [Zn(SCN)4]2− units, enabling diverse second‐harmonic generation in hybrid zinc thiocyanates. ABSTRACT Chiral organic molecules have been widely used to construct hybrid nonlinear optical (NLO) materials with second‐harmonic generation (SHG ...

High‐Responsivity and Fast‐Response Organic Phototransistor Based on Dinaphtho[2,3‐b:2′,3′‐f]Thieno[3,2‐b]Thiophene

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Low‐temperature Al/Al2O3/DNTT/Au organic phototransistors fabricated on flexible PEN combine high responsivity to blue light (≈250 A W−1 at 39 nW cm−2) with detectable modulated photoresponse up to 150 kHz, making them promising for ultra‐low‐light sensing and moderate‐speed optical links.

A de‐novo Approach Towards Divergent [3+2π/σ] Photocycloadditions of Nitrones via Assembly‐Controlled Kinetic Electron Transfer Gating

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
A metal‐free photocatalytic platform converts nitrones into 4‐isoxazolines and oxa–aza–bicycloheptanes through divergent [3+2π/σ] cycloadditions. Assembly‐controlled kinetic electron transfer gating dictates substrate activation, enabling selective reactivity beyond thermodynamic expectations.

Competing Charge Separation Pathways Govern Charge Generation in Organic Photovoltaic Blends: Insights From Transient Electron Spin Resonance

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
Transient electron spin resonance distinguishes interfacial charge‐transfer states from separated charges, revealing competing charge separation pathways in organic photovoltaic blends. The relative contributions of fast charge separation and a pathway mediated by spin‐polarized charge‐transfer states vary across different blends, with high‐efficiency ...

Diblock Copolymer Nanoparticles Act as Nanoreactors for the Synthesis of Sterically‐Stabilized Inorganic Oxide Particles in Non‐polar Media

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Poly(lauryl methacrylate)‐poly(2‐hydroxyethyl methacrylate) (PLMA‐PHEMA) diblock copolymer nanoparticles prepared in non‐polar media serve as nanoreactors for the in situ synthesis of silica from tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS). A silica mass loading of 17% as judged by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) produces a highly transparent dispersion, and ...

A Breadth‐First Pruned‐Enriched Rosenbluth Method for Force–Extension Simulations of Confined Semiflexible Chains

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
The behaviors of semiflexible polymers such as DNA and protein are often reshaped by coupled interactions. Monte Carlo simulations assist in studying these systems. This work recasts the traditional chain‐growth strategy into a new framework: a fixed number of chains grow synchronously, while less relevant chains to the target system are removed and ...

Epitaxial Oxide Interfaces Create Poison‐Resistant CuO Sites for Environmental Catalysis

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
An epitaxially stabilized CuO overlayer on Ti1−xInxO2 creates electron‐poor, high‐symmetry Cu–O sites that activate interfacial lattice‐oxygen redox. This interface promotes NOx reduction through an Eley–Rideal pathway, diverts sulfate formation, and sustains CH3SH deep oxidation via a Mars–van Krevelen cycle, offering a route to poison‐resistant ...
