Inter‐Group Agreement in Chest Radiographic Quality Assessment: Comparing Final‐Year Students and Experienced Radiographers Across Three Quality Assessment Domains During the COVID‐19 Pandemic

open access: yesJournal of Medical Radiation Sciences, EarlyView.
Final‐year radiography students and experienced radiographers assessed 70 chest radiographs using structured criteria for positioning, sharpness and anatomical visibility. The level of agreement was good to excellent across all three domains, with an overall ICC of 0.90.

Coherent Stokes Raman Scattering for Simultaneous Measurement of CO2 and CH4 Temperatures

open access: yesJournal of Raman Spectroscopy, EarlyView.
A three‐beam hybrid fs/ps CSRS method is employed to excite the rovibrational transitions in the Fermi‐dyad of CO2$$ {}_2 $$ and the v2$$ {v}_2 $$ mode of CH4$$ {}_4 $$. Time‐domain spectroscopic models are developed to extract the fuel and flame temperature profiles from experimental CH4$$ {}_4 $$ and CO2$$ {}_2 $$ spectra in a diffusion flame ...

Bacillus subtilis Mobilizes Phosphorus by Reshaping P Pools, Sorption, and Enzyme Activities

open access: yesLand Degradation &Development, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Low phosphorus (P) availability constrains crop production in saline‐alkaline soils of Xinjiang, China. We tested whether Bacillus subtilis (B. subtilis) mobilizes soil P by altering P fractions, sorption–desorption, and P‐cycling enzymes in a saline‐alkaline cotton soil. Under conventional fertilization, B. subtilis was applied at 0 (B0), 15 (

Overgrazing‐Induced Root Carbohydrate Depletion During Winter Dormancy Drives the Decline of Stipa purpurea Populations in the Tibetan Alpine Steppe

open access: yesLand Degradation &Development, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Plant carbon allocation and physiology are influenced by overgrazing during the growth period. However, the response of plant physiological processes to overgrazing during winter dormancy remains unclear. We analyzed root physiological processes of Stipa purpurea in winter dormancy across three plots: over grazing (FG), exclusions of 2 years ...
