Stability Analysis of Distributed Order Fractional Chen System

open access: yesThe Scientific World Journal, 2013
We first investigate sufficient and necessary conditions of stability of nonlinear distributed order fractional system and then we generalize the integer-order Chen system into the distributed order fractional domain.

Emerging experimental and computational methods for studying redox‐regulated structural transitions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Redox reactions can reshape proteins and alter how they behave in cells, with important consequences for health and disease. This review explores emerging experimental and computational approaches for discovering these redox‐sensitive protein switches, revealing their structural effects, and predicting their behavior, opening new opportunities to ...

Numerical Analysis, Circuit Simulation, and Control Synchronization of Fractional-Order Unified Chaotic System

open access: yesMathematics, 2019
The traditional method of solving fractional chaotic system has the problem of low precision and is computationally cumbersome. In this paper, different fractional-order calculus solutions, the Adams prediction−correction method, the Adomian ...

Translophagy—A potential link between autophagy impairment and translational errors

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Neurodegenerative diseases are characterised by the accumulation of abnormal proteins and protein aggregates, but their origin often remains unknown. We propose that selective autophagy removes damaged protein‐making machinery, preventing errors during protein synthesis.

Staged Parameter Identification Method for Non-Homogeneous Fractional-Order Hammerstein MISO Systems Using Multi-Innovation LM: Application to Heat Flow Density Modeling

open access: yesFractal and Fractional
For the non-homogeneous fractional-order Hammerstein multiple input single output (MISO) system, a method for identifying system coefficients and fractional-order parameters in stages is proposed.

Fractional Order Memristor No Equilibrium Chaotic System with Its Adaptive Sliding Mode Synchronization and Genetically Optimized Fractional Order PID Synchronization

open access: yesComplexity, 2017
This paper introduces a fractional order memristor no equilibrium (FOMNE) chaotic system and investigates its adaptive sliding mode synchronization. Firstly the dynamic properties of the integer order memristor no equilibrium system are analyzed.

Functional comparison of EncB and EncC cargo proteins in iron storage within the Myxococcus xanthus encapsulin

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Encapsulins are protein nanocompartments that play an important role in iron storage. In the Myxococcus xanthus encapsulin system, two cargo proteins called EncB and EncC contribute to iron mineralization. Here, we show that EncB and EncC generate iron‐containing minerals with distinct chemical compositions, suggesting that the composition of stored ...

Servo Control of a Current-Controlled Attractive-Force-Type Magnetic Levitation System Using Fractional-Order LQR Control

open access: yesFractal and Fractional
Recent research on fractional-order control laws has introduced the fractional calculus concept into the field of control engineering. As described herein, we apply fractional-order linear quadratic regulator (LQR) control to a current-controlled ...

Fractional Generalization of Gradient Systems [PDF]

open access: yesLetters in Mathematical Physics, 2005
We consider a fractional generalization of gradient systems. We use differential forms and exterior derivatives of fractional orders. Examples of fractional gradient systems are considered. We describe the stationary states of these systems.
