Harnessing bacterial extracellular vesicles for bone and cartilage organoids

open access: yesBMEMat, EarlyView.
This review presents bacterial extracellular vesicles (BEVs) as programmable bioactive regulators for bone and cartilage organoids by delivering functional cargos that modulate skeletal remodeling. It highlights key engineering strategies and future directions to advance next‐generation organoid models for bone aging related diseases.

Restoring joint homeostasis: A dynamically adaptive meniscal scaffold prevents osteoarthritis by replicating native biomechanics

open access: yesBMEMat, EarlyView.
This work establishes a paradigm shift from static structural mimicry to dynamic functional replication. By restoring the native “compression‐to‐tension” mechanism, the scaffold ensures robust mechanical stability and superior chondroprotection.

Riding on a Pegasus: Is ‘Sustainability’ Still a Myth in Bangladesh's RMG Sector?

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Although a growing number of studies explore sustainability, the role of stakeholders and institutions in shaping environmental sustainability initiatives remains overlooked particularly from the upstream fashion supply chain contexts. Drawing upon the framework proposed by Lee, our study aims to fill this gap by examining the interplay ...

A Novel Anatomical Description of the Normal Terminal Fibular Artery and the Terminal Fibular Window: Radiological Findings and Surgical Implications

open access: yesClinical Anatomy, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT A novel anatomical description and radiological finding, related to the anatomical course of the terminal fibular artery (FibA) was recently reported. In the article, the authors found the terminal FibA to change its course, from being posterior and medial to the fibula to surface anteriorly and laterally before residing below the tibiofibular

The Fibular Artery Communicating Branch and Fibular Artery Dominance: An Anatomical Hazard for Posterior Approaches to the Ankle

open access: yesClinical Anatomy, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Open reduction of posterior malleolar fractures (PMFs) increasingly employs direct posterior approaches. The posterolateral and posteromedial approaches both develop the deep posterior compartment in the plane between the fibular and posterior tibial arteries, placing the fibular artery communicating branch (FACB) within the operative field ...
