FutureVision: A methodology for the investigation of future cognition [PDF]
This paper presents a methodology combining multimodal semantic analysis with an eye-tracking experimental protocol to investigate the cognitive effort involved in understanding the communication of future scenarios. To demonstrate the methodology, we conduct a pilot study examining how visual fixation patterns vary during the evaluation of valence and

The study reveals that glutaminolysis in macrophages is inhibited under type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) conditions, which impedes fracture healing by reducing bone morphogenetic protein 2 (BMP2) production through increased cytosine methylation on the promoter.

Closing the Calibration Loop: An Inside-out-tracking Paradigm for Augmented Reality in Orthopedic Surgery [PDF]
In percutaneous orthopedic interventions the surgeon attempts to reduce and fixate fractures in bony structures. The complexity of these interventions arises when the surgeon performs the challenging task of navigating surgical tools percutaneously only under the guidance of 2D interventional X-ray imaging. Moreover, the intra-operatively acquired data

Viridicatol from the Deep‐Sea‐Derived Fungus Alleviates Bone Loss by Targeting the Wnt/SHN3 Pathway
Viridicatol (VDC), isolated from the deep‐sea‐derived fungus, enhances osteogenesis in vitro and in vivo by targeting Wnt/SHN3 signaling pathway. It can be delivered via engineered nanovesicles to mitigate bone loss of osteoporosis, fracture repair, and osteogenesis imperfecta.

Accessible ecophysiological tools for seabird conservation
Abstract Seabirds are the most endangered avian taxa on Earth, with over a third of species globally threatened. To help slow their decline, conservation physiology seeks to determine how seabird responses to climatic and anthropogenic threats influence demographic processes, but it is not widely utilized in monitoring.

Residual Stresses and Micro‐voids Propel Metal Diffusion for Filament‐Based Memristors
Introducing non‐reactive nitrogen during silver sputtering enables low‐voltage (<60 mV) switching in memristors via nano‐void formation and residual stresses in the gigapascal range. This promotes sub‐micron filamentation and neuromorphic behaviors, including multi‐peak synaptic responses.
