Influence of Test Temperature and Test Frequency on Fatigue Life of Aluminum Alloy EN AW‐2618A

The influence of test temperature and test frequency on the fatigue life of EN AW‐2618A is investigated. High‐cycle fatigue tests are performed at different test temperatures and frequencies on the 1000 h/230°C overaged state. Both test parameters reduce fatigue life due to time‐dependent damage mechanisms.

We demonstrate the direct‐laser patterning of a gold thin film on polymethyl methacrylate to fabricate a temperature sensor for dentures. The temperature sensor‐embedded smart dentures are evaluated in an oral environment, enabling in‐situ monitoring for elderly healthcare.

No other choice: The fracturing of reflexivity in families' pathways into (non‐)elective home education in England

This form of education is officially termed by the Department for Education as ‘Elective Home Education’.
