Amyloidogenic Peptide Fragments Designed From Bacterial Collagen‐like Proteins Form Hydrogel

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study identified amyloidogenic sequence motifs in bacterial collagen‐like proteins and exploited these to design peptides that self‐assemble into β‐sheet fibers and form hydrogels. One hydrogel supported healthy fibroblast growth, showing promise for biocompatible materials. Our work demonstrates that bacterial sequences can be harnessed to create

Types and Distribution Characteristics of Callovian-Oxfordian Reservoir on the Right Bank of Amu Darya River in Turkmenistan

open access: yesGeofluids, 2023
Given the characteristics of significant or enormous resources, a wide range, many reservoir types, and challenging exploration on the right bank of the Amu Darya River, we systematically studied the characteristics of its reservoirs.

Study on Production Optimization Method of Fractured Reservoir Based on Connectivity Model

open access: yesFrontiers in Earth Science, 2021
Due to the extensive development of fractures and serious heterogeneity in fractured reservoirs, it is difficult for the traditional numerical simulation method to invert its geology, which greatly limits the efficiency and accuracy of simulation and ...

Ascorbic Acid Modulates Collagen Properties in Glucocorticoid‐Induced Osteoporotic Bone: Insights into Chemical, Mechanical, and Biological Regulation

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Osteoporosis from long‐term glucocorticoid (GIOP) use elevates susceptibility to fracture. This study shows GCs impair ascorbic acid (AA) metabolism in osteoblasts, collagen synthesis and extracellular matrix integrity. AA enhanced collagen biochemical and mechanical properties and restored osteoblast and endothelial function. These findings underscore

Study on the effects of fracture on permeability with pore-fracture network model

open access: yesEnergy Exploration & Exploitation, 2018
Reservoir quality and productivity of fractured gas reservoirs depend heavily on the degree of fracture development. The fracture evaluation of such reservoir media is the key to quantify reservoir characterization for the purposes such as well drilling ...

3D Soft Hydrogels Induce Human Mesenchymal Stem Cells “Deep” Quiescence

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Three‐dimensional soft hydrogels mimicking the bone marrow niche induce deep quiescence in human mesenchymal stem cells. Unlike 2D culture, 3D matrices halt proliferation, regulate cell‐cycle and quiescence markers, and downregulate mTORC1 signaling, preserving stem cell phenotype and therapeutic potential ex vivo.

Pressure Transient Analysis using Generated Simulation Reservoir Data for Dual Porosity Model of Naturally Fractured Reservoir

open access: yesJournal of Earth Energy Engineering, 2023
A naturally fractured reservoir today plays a significant role in improved worldwide oil and gas production. More than half of the resource is mostly found in this reservoir.

UNDERSTANDING NATURALLY FRACTURED RESERVOIRS

open access: yesScientific Contributions Oil and Gas, 2022
Naturally fractured reservoir differs from clastic reservoirs in the sense that the concepts of porous media which were usually applied for clastic reservoir analysis must be modified. This means that handling naturally fractured reservoir is also different compared to handling clastic reservoir.

Deployable 3D‐Printed Vascular Stent with Surface‐Catalysed Endogenous Nitric Oxide Generation

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A deployable 3D‐printed vascular stent was fabricated with surface‐catalyzed endogenous nitric oxide generation, representing a promising new direction for stent development. The stent can be remotely controlled by magnetic force in its compressed state and fully deployed at the target site using an untethered heat source, potentially eliminating the ...
