Numerical Simulation of Gas and Water Flow Mechanism in Hydraulically Fractured Shale Gas Reservoirs [PDF]
The problem of the fracturing water remaining in hydraulically fractured shale gas reservoirs has become one of the major concerns in terms of gas productivity and operating costs.

An Embodied Paper‐Based Microfluidic Al‐Air Battery for Enduring Untethered Insect‐Scale Robots
This work presents a centimeter‐scale microfluidic aluminum–air battery (MFAAB) with dual‐surface anode and F−‐mediated byproduct decomposition. The design enables a high capacity of 2697.05 mAh/g Al and delivers tens of milliwatts to power LEDs, motors, and a toy car.

ABSTRACT Vascularization remains a major obstacle in tissue engineering. Here, we introduce a bioprinting strategy to generate centimeter‐scale, self‐organizing “mother vessel” constructs from iPSC‐derived hiMPCs. By optimizing bioink composition, printing was accomplished in a single‐step approach. Within one week, hiMPCs differentiated into both CD31+

Microgravity Monitoring in Fractured-Vuggy Carbonate Reservoirs
With the development of Tahe Oilfield entering the high water cut stage, gas channeling occurs in fractured-vuggy system during nitrogen injection, resulting in some inefficient wells.

Multiferroic order parameters – polarization, magnetization, and ferroelastic strain – are positioned as dynamic design variables for batteries. Their mechanistic roles, practical tuning through fabrication and external fields, and ferroic‐resolved characterization routes are unified into a closed‐loop framework, revealing how coupled ferroic responses

A New Dual-Permeability Model for Naturally Fractured Reservoirs
Naturally fractured reservoirs (NFRs) are the reservoirs with two distinct types of porous media called the fracture and matrix. The pressure behavior of naturally fractured reservoirs is usually studied by using Warren and Root model (Warren and Root ...

Conventional single‐gradient freeze‐casting typically produces unidirectional porous architectures with limited transverse connectivity. The Sequential Hybridization by Infiltration and Freeze‐casting Technique (SHIFT) addresses this constraint by integrating secondary aligned structures within a preformed primary scaffold.

This work establishes a laterally homogeneous organic–inorganic hybrid interphase for soft‐short‐free anode‐free sodium metal batteries under extended cycling at high current density and high plating capacity. In contrast to conventional strategies that evolve into laterally heterogeneous interphases and induce localized Na filament growth, the pDFHA ...
