Fragile Watermarking Scheme for Accepting Image Compression

2005
As images are commonly transmitted or stored in compressed form such as JPEG lossy compression, image authentication demands techniques that can distinguish incidental modifications (e.g., compression) from malicious ones. In this paper, we propose an effective technique for image authentication which can prevent malicious manipulations but allow JPEG ...

Fragile watermarking for image authentication using BRINT and ELM

Multimedia Tools and Applications, 2020
Privacy and security concerns regarding digital information have been increasing with advancements in multimedia and network technologies. Digital images are an integral component of online-distributed content, which plays a crucial role in forming public perceptions and opinions. They also play a major role in sensitive areas, such as law and defense.

Fragile Watermarking for medical Image Authentication

The 2nd International Conference on Distributed Frameworks for Multimedia Applications, 2006
The ease and extensive use of digital imaging systems raise serious questions about integrity and authenticity of digital images particularly in medical applications. A medical image requires great integrity of content since any change in the image might affect the diagnosis even if it is of small amount.

A Flexible Fragile Watermarking Scheme for Binary Images with Reversibility

Third International Conference on Intelligent Information Hiding and Multimedia Signal Processing (IIH-MSP 2007), 2007
In this paper, we propose a fragile watermarking scheme for binary images with reversibility. Our scheme not only can extract the embedded watermark to authenticate the integrity of host image but also can recover the host image from the watermarked image.

A Fragile Image Watermarking Based on Mass and Centroid

2004
In this paper, a novel fragile watermarking is proposed. It is different from the common fragile watermarking, which uses the cryptographic digital signature of an image or image blocks as authentication information, because two new conceptions, mass and centroid in physics are introduced into our scheme and the fragile watermarking is designed based ...

Semi-fragile Watermarking For Text Document Images Authentication

2005 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems, 2005
The proposed novel semi-fragile watermarking method makes use of prioritized noise suppression patterns; it takes into account the smoothness and connectivity in a 5/spl times/5 neighborhood. This is particularly necessary when the original text document image is noisy.

Secure fragile digital watermarking technique for image authentication

Proceedings 2001 International Conference on Image Processing (Cat. No.01CH37205), 2002
We present a new fragile digital watermarking technique that can be used as a digital signature for data authentication. The technique presented is blind, efficient, secure and can detect and locate minor tampering applied to the image pixels. The technique is suitable for certain classes of image formats such as gif, tif or bitmap images.

A Fragile Watermarking Scheme for Image Authentication with Localization and Recovery

IEEE Sixth International Symposium on Multimedia Software Engineering, 2005
A fragile, block-wise, and content-based watermarking for image authentication and recovery is presented. In this scheme, the watermark of each block is an encrypted form of its signature, which includes the block location, a content-feature of another block, and a CRC checksum.

Semi-fragile Watermarking Algorithm Based on Image Character

2008 International Conference on Computer Science and Software Engineering, 2008
Embedding watermark based on the attacks' characteristic was brought up, and it brought forward the region division algorithm and the double steps embedding method, put forward the characteristic and its representation in DWT transform domain based on visual features model, and brought forward the quantized central limit theorem which was applied to ...

Tamper localization of the medical images based on fragile watermarking

2017 25th Signal Processing and Communications Applications Conference (SIU), 2017
Flexible usage and easy acquisition of image processing software has made "tamper localization in medical images" a popular area. Medical Image Watermarking (MIW), which is one of the recommended methods in this area, relies on embedding additional information into the original image. In general, the medical image is separated into two parts called ROI
