Localization of Frames, Banach Frames, and the Invertibility of the Frame Operator
Journal of Fourier Analysis and Applications, 2004Several versions of localization of frames are introduced and studied in detail. One of the main features of localized frames is that they allow an automatic extension of the associated Hilbert space expansions to a class of Banach spaces. It is also proved that the dual frame inherits the localization properties of the frame.

Approximating the inverse frame operator from localized frames
This investigation seeks to establish the practicality of numerical frame approximations. Specifically, it develops a new method to approximate the inverse frame operator and analyzes its convergence properties. It is established that sampling with {\em well-localized frames} improves both the accuracy of the numerical frame approximation as well as ...

Phase space frames and frame operators
International Journal of Wavelets, Multiresolution and Information Processing, 2014An explicit, simple characterization of those operators that arise as Weyl–Heisenberg frame operators on L2(ℝn) is obtained in terms of the concept of tile vertices of an operator. Generalizations of these frames to abstract Hilbert spaces are introduced and these and their frame operators are characterized in terms of Weyl–Heisenberg frames and frame ...
