Wavelet frame operators and admissible frames
Asian-European Journal of Mathematics, 2021Whereas a characterization of Weyl–Heisenberg frame operators is known, the important class of wavelet frame operators is yet to be characterized. We fill this lacuna in this paper. We first look at the problem in an abstract setting, by looking at a special class of Hilbert frames which we call admissible frames.

Schatten-class operators and frames
Quaestiones Mathematicae, 2011By extending the works of Arias et al. and Balazs we present a natural sufficient condition via frames for the membership of the Schatten p-class operators for 1 ≤ p ≤ 2, and show that such a condition is not sufficient to guarantee the membership of the Schatten-class operators for p > 2.Quaestiones Mathematicae 34(2011), 203–211.

On weaving operator-valued frames
International Journal of Wavelets, Multiresolution and Information ProcessingThis paper addresses the weaving theory of operator-valued frames (OPV-frames). We give a rigorous proof of the equivalence between “weakly woven” and “woven” of OPV-frames; estimate the optimal universal OPV-frame bounds of all weavings; and prove that OPV-frame and its dual OPV-frame are woven.

The A-Frame Operation for Acquired Blepharoptosis
Archives of Ophthalmology, 1980The A-frame operation has been found effective in the treatment of acquired blepharoptosis. It has the following advantages: (1) it can be done easily, rapidly, and if desired, bilaterally, with a minimum of dissection; (2) corneal irritation is not seen; (3) the tarsus is not disturbed; (4) since it is done through an external incision, it can be done

Operator Frames for Banach Spaces
Complex Analysis and Operator Theory, 2010Let \(\{Y_i\}_{i \in \mathbb{N}}\) be a collection of Banach spaces. Equip the set of sequences \(Y:=\{\{y_i\}_{i \in \mathbb{N}}:y_i \in Y_i\}\) with the obviously defined addition and scalar multiplication. The vector space \(Y\) with a norm \(\| \cdot \|\) is called a \textit{generalized BK-space} induced by \(\{Y_i\}_{i \in \mathbb{N}}\) if \(Y ...

Double Preconditioning for the Gabor Frame Operator
2006 IEEE International Conference on Acoustics Speed and Signal Processing Proceedings, 2006We present an application of the idea of preconditioning in the context of Gabor frames. We propose a method to find an approximation for the inversion of the Gabor frame operator, based on (double) preconditioning. We thereby obtain very good approximations of the true dual Gabor atom at very low computational costs.

Frames are families of vectors in a (separable) Hilbert space H, which generalize the notion of an orthonormal basis and provide the possibility to represent and re- construct vectors in H in a non-unique, redundant and stable way. These properties of frames are desired for a vast number of applications, e.g.
